If he's stock and so are you, I say run him in the quarter, beat him, then challenge him to a race on the twisties so you can beat him again (Yes, our cars can turn, contrary to popular belief). Last, add on Stage 2 and really embarrass him the next time. The new Si's are nothing special stock for stock, even with full bolt-ons they're hard pressed to keep up with a Stage 2. They can be scary with a turbo though, make sure he's not running a sleeper civic before you line up with him
You should really think about putting a filter on that brain-mouth thing.

You do know that "bolt-ons" include turbo kits and superchargers right? I'd love to see you try to keep up with a supercharged Si

I'm perfectly fine hearing different views about stuff, and I never really thought of turbo and super kits as bolt-on before. My definition mostly consisted of the smaller stuff, I/H/E, maybe a tune, some other odds and ends for traction, that kind of thing. I've ran against an I/H/E Si and came out on top, and until I read what you said I'd never considered it. That may explain why I've been having a hard time wrapping my brain around the concept of a bolt-on Si beating a Stage 2. I'd run a super'd Si with my Stage 2 if I had the chance just to see how much more I had to do to keep up (although I have no clue what a, let's say 7psi super'd Si is putting down for power). I had a lot of bad crap floating around in my head till I came here, fewer bad things are up there now that I've had some time here, but it seems one's been found, so that's one more change for the mental filing cabinet. I'll never get it all out unless I know about it. FTW.

Anything else I say that seems off to you, I'm all ears

I had never heard of FI being called a bolt-on, either. The LS1 community say "full bolt-ons" all the time without having FI. It just means they are running the stock cam, usually.

Sounds like new thread material... unless it's already been hashed out before, in which case the trusty search button will reveal it shortly.

pshh F/I is not a "bolt on" mod.

if it is, then every mod you can do to a car might as well be called "bolt on"
its not that literal, just because something bolts on, doesnt mean its a "bolt-on" mod.

Balla, I was just stating a point that it's not a specific model of car thats the problem for me, but usually the person behind the wheel. If you can't read into that, then, maybe it's you thats "Stupid".

Hahaha, "you're" bored arent you. I like hondas and all sorts of cars, its just some of the fanbois that drive them who refuse to believe that another manufacturer can build and ok car, and call everything else a pos etc etc. Close minded people is what I was referring to. Kind of like it's not the forum itself thats bad, but the useless trolls that think they are cool.. hmmm. I know you'll try some gay way to highlight that and turn it around in your next post, but I guess thats what you do.... . Small things for small minds I guess. As far as my grammer on a forum, like I give a flying f'k.

End rant.

That was my original point, you sounded a lot like a typical fanboy in your original post. And instead of being mature, you got really butthurt, hence me calling you stupid.

Understood. Here is my angle. I dont like being called something I am not, from someone who doesnt know me. And no I wasnt being a fanboi. I like cobalts , but I am the only SC in the group I cruise with. The SC scene around here is non existant. Agree to disagree here, you think I am a fanboi, I think "you're" ....
