they aren't i just remember on the k20a forums they posted the test mule for the first tc turbo kit at the track and it was running mid 13's. i dont doubt it, im just saying those are pretty fast when turboed. it just makes the kill that much nicer if it was turbo.
and yes, i am a member of 9 different car forums lol.

Those Turbo'd TC's aren't something to under estimate. They are pretty damn fast if properly tuned, and unlike our beloved SS/SC's they can actually take the boost like a champ. I've seen 18 psi with on a headgasket and headstud change in addition to a clutch, and the engine made over 400whp and tq. 18psi from a t3/t4 turbo is a lot more CFM's than out M62 puts out, so I wouldn't go there and say we can 20-22psi! The guy you probably raced was most likely running 6-8psi which equals 250-260whp and tq. Then factor in that the car weighs about a 100lbs or so more, and you have a good race going like you had. Glad you won though!

mid 13's in the test mule with a real conservative tune on stock rubber. basically equates to low 13's high 12's for anyone that knows what they are doing with the car with the right supporting mods. that's fast, and real fast for a 4 cylinder that comes n/a stock...
