07ss vs 03 mustang
I don't drive the balt to often sence I got the goat. I tunned it up today for the wife, and I figured I'd see how she was doin. I took her down the road to blow her out cause the wife don't ever make her wine.
On my way back I see the mustang and figured i'd try and play. I pull up beside tap the throttle a cpl times, he dose nothin so I go on then in my rear I see him comin hard so kick down and stop him from passin. We then run from a 40, a 20, and a dig, the only time he was ever in front was on the dig by half a car for about 50 ft.

How are they overrated? Are you just mad because Ford hasnt missed a beat yet since 64? I'll be the 1st to admit they arent the fastest cars out there, but for the money you cant beat the new GT's and a used 03/04 Mach 1 and Cobra.

you guys go to wal-mart and find a mustang calendar, it'll be missing about 20 years of ugly everytime. so i don't want to hear how ford never missed a beat with the mustang. and in camaro vs. mustang competition, mustangs only won a handful.

That was also only a 4 year run and after that the Foxs hit streets.

that's true, you did say that. it may be that mustang has more packages than camaro did, but frankly, you can keep your more common and better selling mustang, that only matters if i work for ford. i do like your stang btw.

I know Mustangs are common and I'll even say MOST are slow. I would say 90% of the ones I see around here are V6s. I'll see a GT everyonce in awhile and I know almost every Cobra and GT500 owner around here. Having a clean, fast Mustang is something that stands out from the rest of them and everyone notices it too. I can't go anywhere in my GT with out people giving me a thumbs up or just staring at my car and the GT500 is even worse.
That being said sales are what keep the brand alive and allows for the higher performance models to exist. The V6 Mustangs are what allow Ford to make the GT500 and even the GT for that matter. Though I know the sales weren't the main reason for the Camaro to die off for 7 years but it did have some thing to do with it. If the Camaro was selling good there is no way GM would have axed it for 7 years. Hell Ford created the 03 Cobra in like 1.5 years, almost redesigning the whole car from drivetrain to suspension.

The 04 and under GT's are nothing to ride home about, which is why I got rid of my 01 GT for my SS/TC.

heres some fast stangs.The first run is my 04 goat vs a 09 gt, I got him by 4+ cars. Sorry bout poor cam, the trailing car is a built 04 svt tq monster hes in the 2nd race the white gt is also a built torbo car.Thats the 09 gt tryin to keep up.

no mods that I know of but I bought the car used at a dealer and it was advertised as 0-60 in 4.3 , and I have out ran ls2 autos
