I believe it.
That is the driver we need to tear a nasty time in a stock Cobalt!!

on a side note....the average RSX on the street does not have any of that kind of work done and to your point, the ones who do are the ones going out and still runnin 15's and giving the rest a bad name

HEY no thread jacking! point of this thread is that this guy can drive his civic PERFECT, civic si's k20's are built for the ź mile. i asked him if he topped out his baby yet... speed limiter set at 135... i know 3 things... my top speed is waaaay past his, i can OWN from a roll... well demolish... and from a dig he is clearly the better driver. and probably better than most on here from what Ish said with just an cat-back and a K&N air filter AIR FILTER not cone or CAI lol... he ran a what 14.4? could a header make him that much quicker than me? i guess so. i'm pretty sure if he had it tuned he wouldnt have a speed limiter in place lol. and he isnt lying to me guys. he is a striaght up dood real cool on top of that. he made that video also.

You called BS on a post that I made and I wanted to show you proof of what I said. Not threadjacking. I was talking about a SC cobalt which is also what this thread was about.

Maybe, but he ran 12.7 at 110 so that will take quite a bit of power it seems as FWD high power cars suck at launching.

I'm pretty sure Stu is one of the advocates of not needing an assload of power to run in the 12's. Which makes me believe even more that him saying he made 318whp was just to **** with you.

I am telling you SI Civics are not very fast I raced some kid in a black one that wanted to try and keep me from passing him on the hwy lets just say I pulled pretty hard on him.
on nitrous maybe... the 12.7 wasn't on nitrous.
if his car made 316 hp on a 2.8 ,60s , I/h/e with out spray then i'll litarely eat my own head with a spork.

and theres a big diff of a ss/tc vs a si and a ss/sc vs a si.

racing on the highway is not an accurate representation of a cars performance. roll racing isnt real racing.

considering the rate at which i left a stock Si in the dust, i cant believe that a stock ecu'd Si is anywhere near a low 14 second time

They just can't accept the fact that a bolt on only K20 Si/RSX can run these times.

Not a bad launch, it was about 98 degrees and humid at the time of that run that might have affected the trap.

It was daily driven.

50% boost reduction is way too much for first gear, get that fixed, learn to launch better, and you will at least be even if not ahead in the 1/4, and soon after you will walk away.

I can accept the fact that K20's will do that...I'm very well aware of what a bolted honda/acura can do...I use to own one...but I cannot accept the fact that a completely stock si will run a 14.3.

si's and rsx-s dont suck, they're very well made cars, i've never never raced one from a dig, but all the roll races i had with stock(ish) si's i won by too much for it too be a drivers race, they arent AS fast from a roll, from a dig i dont know, i've seen numbers, but no experience there...

we will have some roll races this wekend on tape. just to prove a point to the youtube community. there all saying oh no roll against the balt wtf... sorry to say a real race isnt a roll. simple as that. but everyone say we will do 3 types of rolls... 1st gear 20 mph rolls, 2nd 40 mph (my fav. lol), 3rd... undecided. SI's choice. and i will be sure to give everyone the link and what have you.

k20 is a good engine, infact i like it better than the lsjunior, however there are strengths/weaknesses with both.
