So you're basing your opinion on something not even considered a race? Great scott!

Time to mod up, OP.

Whatever guy.

That's what this section is all about right? So you're mad and are trying to deflect my relevant criticism of your ”race” by trying to talk down to me? Awesome.

Good day to you, guy.

I didn't raced any in the Cobalt, but based on reviews, MS3 and LNF should be pretty even stock vs stock. a stock MS3 has a higher torque rating and it feels more torquey when you put your foot down (compared to a stock LNF Cobalt) but the torque steer is insane. I drove a stock 2010 MS3 and torque steer felt worse than it was in my Cobalt with GMS1.

yeah....you are more confusing than a girl How?!?! HOW?! the lnf is a twin scroll w/ less power and torq. The MZR has a single scroll and power hits in at 3000-3500 rpm pretty hard. The stock lnf would not burn out the wheels, the mzr can.

based on your logic, a twinscroll would spool faster than a single scroll and therefor deliver power/torque faster.

Its just a personal preference, I know the MS3s have more torque than our cars stock.

agreed with this^ i have 7 ms3 in my group of car peeps and first off we are faster than them stock for stock. and if we run corn then stock for stock turbo they wont ever win unless you need a driver mod

No

What hes saying is the turbo in the ms3 makes more tq and because its not a twinscroll the tq is felt as soon as full boost hits. The twin scroll has a more gradual build therefore the tq is not as noticeable and doesnt come in as strong.

The best thing i can relate it to is running a big turbo vs small twin scroll on a dyno and comparing the tq curves. Bigger turbos hit like a freight train and 2x scroll has a more gradual curve.

So because you can't drive and you got beat to 60 the speed3 is clearly faster? Put some more thought into your posts.

yes it spools lower and delivers it in a linear non hard way. Where the ms3 it just kicks in hard. And sure it is personal pref. But you know I need to be ridiculous

you are modded! My stock ms3 vs a stage 2 ss/sc I think I eeked out rallyracer just a little bit. Same with my LNF.

They run great on e85 w/ supporting mods. I'd rather leave my cars mostly stock. If I could have the comfy awesome of my ms3 w/ the drivetrain and suspension of the lnf. I'd rock it. I'm so sick of 2 doors and no hatch/trunk room. Get me a Raptor and have the lnf for the summer ****.

yayer. Both cars for me were fantastic in slightly different ways. Love them both! If I had to buy new today, I'd get the ms3. The FST just doesn't have a real lsd. I don't want to mod, maybe an intake and downpipe...MAYBE tune. just too much **** to break once you do.

idk but i ran a new ms3 with a cut out on a 18psi tune and i walked away from him very easy. i also ran a first gen ms3 with intake exhaust tune and gave me a better run but still beat him.

am on a 2.8 pulley, 80s, and 11.2-11.4 afr tune. everything else is completely stock on my car

isn't that a smaller pulley than a stage 2?

Yeah ms3's bolt ons don't do much. You really need to run e85 in them or big turbo to get power.

even tho the stock speed3 is lsj stage 2 fewd, it can easily be a driver mod race. If the driver of the lnf doesnt NLS shame on him...
