last i saw he was at some retarded number like 391 whp on a dyno with a clamp and some rediculous tuning with 110 octane.

Alright man ive been real busy latley so im sorry i havent taken your calls or messages!
But I raced my buddy with an 03 cobra stock except CAI and a STS. 40 roll and he gave me the hit...He needed to shift right away and messed it up but not to bad....he eventually got into gear and started gaining on me...by 90ish he was nex to me and i was looking at him walk away. I think you make more power than me so you should be closer.
He will probably still pull you, but it should be respectable. All i heard was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and then VROOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM exhaust. IT WAS ******* SICK I NEED TO BUY 1. They make our little toys look like ass.

It should be pretty close from a roll, but the cobra has much longer gears and instant torque at any rpm, so you're going to have to do some good driving to stay next to him. Now, this is assuming it is stock, but it seems like you aren't sure if it's stock. If it's even got a catback and intake it will likely be making over 400rwhp. If the thing isn't bone stock, I'd expect to get walked.

Its really hard to find a Cobra with out at least intake and tune. About the only ones you see 100% stock are ones with like 5000 or less miles on them.
Like cake said the biggest thing you have going against you is the tq the Cobra makes from idle to redline. Its right there at any speed and any rpm and doest let up. I know most turbo cars can make peak tq fairly fast but then it starts to die off really fast.
A roll is a stock/near stock Cobra's best race really. The IRS and shitty tires kills them from running better times at the track. It depends on what speed roll you go from too. I haven't driven a stock cobra since like 04 so I don't remember really what they are like from a low speed roll. If they are in anything like the Shelby a 30mph hit will light the tires up BAD.
I'd say equal drivers the Cobra has a SLIGHT advantage but its really anybodys race.

well honestly ive never seen a 03-04 cobra that is bone stock. almost everyone is atleast pullied.
unless he got it brand new i would have to say its modded.
check the pully you can easily tell if they are stock or not.
if its a dif pully prepare to get pulled pretty good.
if its stock it should be him pulling til your turbo spools then you start to catch a little bit then you shift he pulls again til you spool up again. just depends on how much you can gain when your turbo is boosting
unless he got it brand new i would have to say its modded.

yea people get wrapped up into the "stage this stage that" stuff...My car is on the stock ECU (stage nothing). The 11 second stock turbo pass was made by a car with no staged computer either

it will either be a drivers race or he will edge u out at the end. I really dont think my tuned TC would hold up against a cobra. and im at 320 ish HP. 340 TQ. but at the cobalt SS weight. would b pretty dead even with u.
