thats why i said he must be a shitty driver.. you ran 10.57 with i/e, i ran 10.37 i/e, i raced him and we were even for a few seconds then by the end my front bumper was at his rear bumper, maybe a little bit behind. thats why i dont see how he would be by your back door.

he's actually not a bad driver, and I didnt beat him by much, There's no real comparison to waht my car can do right now, since no automatic cobalt has ever had what I currently have, who knows? I could be in the 15.9-16.1 range (I should be), and my friend could be in the same range because of his skill and car. Anything can happen. Did I mention that he weighs about 300 pounds lol
Plus we roll raced, not from a dig, I beleive if it was from a dig, he'd be able to win becuase of the advantage of a manual tranny's launch

I bought I stock SS/SC downpipe for 20 bucks and spent an hour emptying the bitch out
Make sure you remove the emissions fuse afterward though
Remember that removing a cat is a federal offense and you can get jail time and hefty fine for it

From a dig, yes most likely would have lost to the 2.3. But since I currently own a focus, I can tell you the new 2.0 and 2.3 loose power higher in the power band unless engine mods such as cams are done. Anyways good job, sounds like you got a nice Cobalt build.
Hey Mike, how is the Ion treating you!
