2.2 sedan vs 96 eclipse gs
coming home from the track today i passed a eclipse that was there running mid to high 16's about what my cobalt was running...he came up by me and reved up and took off ::he has intake and exhaust and 5 speed:: about this time i was thinking ok b/c i had 4 people in my car and then when he come back to beside me i noticed he did as well ::but had what it looked like a bunch of anarexic ::sp?:: people...me and my g/f probably could of made up the weight of the 3 of them and my g/fs daughter for the last one lol ::plus it doesnt help my car is heavier in the first place than a eclipse:: but anyways he then got in front of me and i heard him downshift so i downshifted about the same time he did and he took off and i proceeded to do the same this from about a 80 mph roll ::yes i know it requires no talent to do this:: well i slowly keep pulling him and and by 110 i had 2 cars on him and i let it and then he does the famous ricer flyby and then he slowed down and never got up beside me again lol

Considering that the gs eclipse had a 420a engine in it and nvt-350 manual tranny... and the engine only put out 140 hp stock.... you should beat him to prob! I had an avenger with the 420 and the nvt....its was sssloowww! until i wrecked the stupid thing

yes ive the read the posts over people dieing racing...i know i shouldnt of with people in the car.....but i have one thing to add.....u never know when its your time...u could die just pulling our your driveway.
