Damn nice times. The best i've seen so far for the new SI's have been high-mid 14's. What was the slip? Or atleast the 60ft and 1/8thmile et & mph.

Yea... I'm not buying the 14.0 on a stock 4-door, give me a break, look at those 60' times you had 0 traction, there is no way you aren't running something else or that clock is absolutely uncalibrated. Give me a break!

have you watched the video????im on stock all season tires, i got dreat traction off the line as far as those tires will give me, not to mention im in a sotkc HONDA meaning i have no tourqe like other cars to take off like a bat outta hell!! the track is an NHRA track so its accurate, otherwise all the outlaw 10.5 guys would break out everytime they run there

Yep still not buying it.. that car does not have enough power to physically do that 1/4 in that time.. let's be real here...

Oh and to add, I put BUSES on Si's from a roll (you're saying your car is fast from a roll if you have bad launches) and I ran a 14.1 stock.. It doesn't take a good driver to do a roll race...

umm where did you get i had a bad launch, a 2.2 60 foot time is a great launch with sometime on all season tires and no tourqe, 2.2 and 2.1's which i was gettin all day is perfect, there is no way your gettin lower on a stock FWD honda w.o some tires t launch at their 2-step

Guys, let's not turn this into the thread under his video on YouTube, that one's bad enough.

Only way to be 100% sure is to go run him yourself, he very well might have a factory frankenstein on his hands. I'm not sure how he can totally prove he's stock over the intarweb, other than ripping his engine apart and taking a video of it all, but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt until someone on here looks under the hood or runs him in person (or until he goes up against an SS S/C that's verifiably stock, and someone posts the vid).

Either way, it is what it is, low 14's are great for an Si, modded or not. I'm sure that particular Si's capabilities, and those of its driver, will continue to bear out over time.

Cecil county must be the fastest track in the world because that is the only place you will ever see any Si running low 14s. Also since you are trapping 5+ mph and .5 seconds faster than 99% of the "stock" civics out there, something tells me we are not getting the full story!

I'm NOT going to hate here, all I will say is that somehow you seem to have a car thats running 3 quarters to a full second faster then anyone else's SI can.

I just find it odd is all when my 2.4 SS has beaten more then its fair shair of SI's and it's only a flat 15 car.

Congrats are well deserved, but somethings fishy here.

there's an SI in my area i've run a few times, and I pull on him like it's my job constantly. the only time he's EVER passed me is when I shut down and I get hit in the side of the face by all the rice flying off his car. lol those cars are SLOW.

you can look all through my car, there is no bottle, no lines ran, and no hole in the intake tubing for the jets.....the new civics can only be ran off a wet shot as there is no fuel return to be able to run a dry shot
