2.2L vs 97 integra

so my buddy has a modded 97 integra 5 speed with rims, lowered exhaust inake etc, i i had just bought my 2.2L base model cobalt 5 speed. well the first time we dragged i got hime by a about 5 car lengths, so then i gave hime 5 car lengths and emabarassed hime in front of all his import friends. bottom line the race was for 5 bucks, but he payed me in ultramar reveal a deal coupons.

that same night i race a modded 2 dr accord, protege, vw rabbit, all in the straight line, they all needed the extra 5 car lenghts. i tell them its there huge spoilers that slow them down and my underglow must give me more aerodynamics. its funny stuff and good times tho. my take offs are probably a little better now since ive got 17's, and got rid of the hubcaps. oh yeah raced a 2dr saturn on the highway last night with a fart can, beat him, but had to slow after 170, didnt want to let on that my car is governed at that speed. anyone know how to get that fixed?

"...but had to slow after 170, didnt want to let on that my car is governed at that speed. anyone know how to get that fixed?" Is this a typo?
Edit: haha I just saw Canada, obviously this is km/h, sorry*

i was getting ready to say something myself, cuz 2.2 and 170 mph dont go, then i read you'r post and noticed the Canada under his name.....if it said U.S i would raise all the b.s flags, but they use km/h...... but as far as the governer, i'm guessing you'll have to wait for some aftermarket or GM performance re-flash or soemthing, or get an SS

Isn't that just for the 15" wheels a safety thing i thought that it could be recalibrated if you put bigger wheel and tire combo.

Dealers cannot recalibrate govereners they can only recalabrate for your speedo to match the tire size.
