2.2l vs monte carlo ss
i was on my way to apply for a job, and i see a car flying up next to me. we catch a light before the highway and i wasnt expecting him wanting to go(its like this 40 year old dude that works at the muffler shop i go to) and i hear his tires start spinning like crazy so i took off, he instantly put 1 car length on me, then i starting hanging with him at about 50, by the time we hit 100(rarely go that fast please dont flame lol) i was right next to him pulling pretty well past him then i let off.

Good point, theres a silver fake SS/SC around here that I have seen. He drives like he is an ass too. Cut off my buddy at a hockey game not too far back.
Looks pretty close if you dont know what to look for
People must be dusting him off and thinking the SS/SC's are gutless.
I took a 2.2L out, and was not impressed at all.

there is a 96 v6, 4 speed around here (pretty much the slowest mustang you can buy it runs like low 16's) with a terminator front bumper and cobra badges....it's terrible.

for the price they are very nice...but dont say "in the relm of 2.2's" the s2000 uses a 2.2 and the civic si uses a 2.0. both are far faster than a 2.2.

I drove the 2.2 before I drove the SC. I am talking about the 2.2 in context with hondas, nissans, mazda's etc.
Then I got back into the 2.2 and drove back to the dealership to drop it off.... I couldnt believe the diff. The brakes in the LS drove me nuts... I am not saying the LS is bad car at all. Its just when I hear people talk about them racing and putting sc wings on em and stuff I just find it sad.
