The SI is a phenom Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder car. It really earns it performance SI badges over regular Civics.
that being said,
THe Cobalt SS/NA is a phenom Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder car. While it isn't as good as it's supercharged brother, it stands out from the crowd.
These are two great cars, that seem to be destined for rivalry. The honda has the advantage in HP and top end, while the Cobalt eats it up with torque and low end power.
Can't wait to find one of my own to roll against

I guess I need to remember you guys are street racing in an uncontrolled environment. It is very different at the track. I'm not trying to discrediting any of the 2.4SS vs. Si kills because I'm sure they happen regularly.

Oh,I remeber, five of my friends have the new SI and they are no longer like the other Si's guys on those forums,if they can.t beat me than they know they can not beat a ss/sc.

That is because the majority of Civic Si drivers are clueless. Including the guy I raced. I could see it in his face that he was fuming that he lost to me. He wouldn't even look at me and avoided racing me the rest of the day. Too bad I didn't get one of my better runs in. I drove like **** all day!

Thats so freaking true. Working at honda now, I realize that to Si drivers, the Si is to a regular civic what Acura is to Honda, like a better, premium car that is totally different. Si owners are worse than S2000 owners for thinking that thier car is the last word on performance.
