2.4 SS Sedan VS Civic SI sedan
Well I have raced this car several times and have for the most part come out on top but I hate to post once again getting my ass handed to me by a Civic SI sedan. 
Long story short version is I went to visit my wife at her work and saw a blacked out SI sedan, it looked really damn good too! Anyway he instigated me into a race and off the line we were even but after the first 60" it was all over. He murdered my ass worse then then I had happen in a loooooong damn time! I mean sure I've lost by a car or maybe 2 before but this dude put bus lenths on me! When I finaly caught up at a red light he had his window down so I rolled mine down and said to him " God Damn what do you have done to that thing?!?" He smiled and says, "intake, header, and custom exhaust, and a 50 shot of nitrous. Your Cobalt started to make me worried when I didn't just pull you from the line so I had to spray it to make sure I'd win." I laughed and told him his car was bad assed looking and he thanked me and said he loved my hood and wheels. The light turned green and I took off nice and easy as to NOT make him think I wanted a re-match.
Damn now I'm thinking of getting a N2O setup! All in all a very cool guy with a killer looking sedan!

And yeah thats why I'm only thinking about it cause I KNOW what it can do to the engine.

No he didn't have to spray cause he would have pulled on his own with those mods. But since the 2.4 makes more torque then his SI does thats how I could hang right off the line with him and that spooked him so he sprayed.
And yeah thats why I'm only thinking about it cause I KNOW what it can do to the engine.

Nice death man. What do you got for mods? I got Pontiac G5 Gt Sedan. I can't wait to get some good runs with some civics.

I doubt you have driven either,I have I think 14 times,he will btw pull off the line with his 2.4,you got some pretty big hp numbers there big boy,I would love to get you and your GTO in the cones,we will see how good of a driver you really are.I have been drivin rig and b-trains for 18 years and a **** of alot of novice racing,Why do I say this>>cause I rarely do,cause I don't like to talk out my ass,something I ve noticed you do alot.If you have not spent extensive time in either car,SHUT UP!!! and start contributing to the site or Leave and do many a favour.

i just looked at the other thread of **** stupid post..wow guys. but with my mods and stock si's ive beat the new si. when i raced my friend stock si it was pretty damn close..this is when i was stock. those si's have noooo tq..yes if they are somewhat modded..we know they will make some good power. now if the 2.4 is modded..they will make some nice power..end of story...please lock this thread

You really think that the Si having "noooooooooo tq" affects anything at all when it has something like a 5:1 Final drive ratio, and redlines at ~8500rpm....
Your bolt on 2.4 will be lucky to trap 90mph, they're doing 95+ stock and 100+ with an intake/header.

To clear some things up here, the Si running a 14.5 stock is as common as an SS/SC running 14.0-14.1 stock! Has it happened for both cars? Yes! Do you need the Sun, the moon, and all of the planets in the solar system to be aligned for both of these cars to run these numbers? Yes! As for an SS/NA running with an Si, I'm sure stranger things have happened!

This flaming is getting out of hand,when a member wins a race some come on this site only to flame and not support,its getting old and this is said to be one of the main reasons why members have left the site not to come back....its a shame!!!
