2007 Cobalt SS/SC VS AUDI S4 CHIPPED
Ok so last night I head out to meet up with my cousins, he and his buddy just bought matching 2001 S4. They both told me they are holding 18PSI and 320HP. We went for a ride in mine and then his. By the way his car felt I told him that he would dust me. So we all head out for a cruse. MY cousin pulls up beside me in his S4 and wants a run. So we went for it. I ended up beating him by 3/4 of a car length. I was shocked and so was he. HE wasnt to happy after that.
Funny thing is they were al cutting up my BALT saying its a AMERICAN SLED. Guess I showed them all up!
Has anyone else raced an S4 ? By the way I only have my tranny mounts done with an ingals, CAI and I got a CF WING THAT of course gave me the extra 100hp LOL
please comment on this i was very shocked. and by the way yes the driver of the S4 can drive very well.

2001? Thats the I6 model, I suppose crazier things have happened.. Some unexplained and misunderstood factors (gear choice, from a roll/or drag etc) could have resulted in the outcome posted. I would bet on the S4 to win, but truthfully i've driven both cars and the S4 doesn't really feel that much faster until you wind the tach into the upper RPMs - which is where most mid sized German cars prefer to pull the hardest. Nice kill

i ran a s4 that sounded mean as hell...must have been a different turbo but fro 40 he put 1 car on me by mid 3rd...but my ac was on high so i dont know if that matterd...

Stock '01 S4's are low 14's from a dig, but they're AWD and 3600 pounds, so a roll race with a stock one probably goes easily to the SS S/C. An '01 S4 pushing 320 HP, even at the crank, would nail a stock SS S/C from a roll though (AWD can't totally diminish that large of a power increase), so I'd say the OP's cousin is BS'ing about the power he's putting down... unless there's a dyno graph saying otherwise .

If the guy has that above said chip he would be making approx 330 whp. If it was one of the others it would be 310-320 whp. Another big difference is if it had downpipes/exhaust.

With giac-x chip they spike 20 hold 18
If the guy has that above said chip he would be making approx 330 whp. If it was one of the others it would be 310-320 whp. Another big difference is if it had downpipes/exhaust.
