i dont like hondas, regardless of their power or what they run in the 1/4, but for those that do, to each their own.

i personally wouldnt believe anyone claiming to have 400hp until i saw a dyno test myself. its one thing to have a turboed civic, its another to have one built up enough to handle 400hp.

Myth...
Is it not ugly enough, or does it just make too much power/torque stock or have too much potential? new v6 mustang > any stock civic other than the new si which it is right next to in a straight line if not pulling on it and it costs less...god i love civic owners.

I think you need to take your 12 posts and go back to streetfire.

you tell him his is the lamest post ever, and then you top it with something worse.

Wow... your 4.0l V6 keeps up with a 2.0l I4 as well as the older 1.6l I4(2000 SI), kickass dude.

I do not own a Civic.

and costs less money, has more potential, is more comfortable, and looks better

i've raped two new si's from a dig to 100ish .

is it an accord? why get so defensive and become such a whiney bitch if you don't drive a civic? or do you even have a car? i just said i wouldn't drive one, and all of a sudden your menstral blood is all over the walls!

Who cares what you would drive or not drive???

I own a few cars all of which will ***** out your Mustang like its tied to an anchor. None are Hondas.

Your car has more potential than a Honda??? How many V6 Mustangs run 8s/9s??? And looks/comfortability are VERY subjective.

Ask anybody other than a V6 mustang owner and they will tell you that V6 mustangs are below Hondas on the "who gives a **** what you think or have to say? list".

actually there are a couple in the 9's and there are a few in the ten's on stock blocks. Reason you don't see more is at that point a cobra or a fox or some of the 4.6's will be cheaper to do so with. how many street trim hondas run 8's/9's? How many hondas can run mid 11's with stock block, tranny, full street trim (including the back seat and all) besides dr's? doubtful if any will do that. and will they run for more than a year being driven every day and hitting the track almost every weekend? cause i mean, thats what a few people have done with my car why don't we take this to pm instead of taking up bandwidth here and ruining this thread. please, send me some pics of what you drive.

David S. has FULL interior besides what he had to cut for his cage in Civic HB and he runs 9s all day and has touched 8s. He has had his car for like a year and a half.

And I am willing to bet he has less invested than the 9 second V6 mustangs.

well he raced it every weekend of last summer, and it didnt blow up, and during the week he used it as his daily driver. i guess its possible to go fast for cheap and have some reliability, if you know what your doing.

Know what your buying before you buy it and **** won't blow up. Ebay is a great place to get allsome parts for allsome prices. The Spec company started as an Ebay part back in the day. So if you have a Spec clutch or flywheel guess what you have an Ebay part, so quit bitching.

Sure it's possible. And they will last a long time if tuned properly. A lot of ricers don't tune their car, then they blow up, and the company gets a bad rap.

I know of personal buddy's experience. He had his Honda running 400 whp/ 375 wtq on the STOCK block. Everything was stock. It lasted about 35k miles of HARD driving before he had a sleeve crack.

I have 380 hp on a conservative tune due to my clutch. That is 380 hp and 335 tq. Tq is easily attainable if you know what you're doing.

My engine is good for 600 whp and I didn't spend a bundle to build it.

I never understood the import/domestic bashing. It's stooping to a level of a second grader. "oh, my car is better than yours".

I've owned both domestics and imports...own an import now. I don't go around bashing domestics. It's really immature and shows a lack of intelligence. And think about it, where does it lead to? Does it make you feel better? Does it take a thread anywhere? Not really.

cheap car doesn't equal cheap modability...yes you could do that for under 12 grand but thats not cheap when the crx you buy probably cost $500

if u see what I'm getting at, its really not any cheaper than other cars out there they just have more parts available. but a nicely done and not thrown together Honda is quite expensive...

just take a look at the price of a B series motor swap, 3-4K for a JDM swap and thats before touching anything else on the car.

Wow worst post ever. A friend of mine has a 90 hatchback that dyno'd 405WHP and 260ft lb's, his 1/8mile times are usually 7.3-7.5@100-102MPH, hea makes my neon look like it's standing still.

Hmmmm

B swap is no were close to 3K. SEARCH know what you are talkiong about before you feed **** to people. My 90 crx 500 for the car and I got 2 b engines. So know what your talking about. You can get b engines for under 1k all the time. Moms little baby went out and blew her money and thats why everyone thinks that it is a spendy swap. If you search and don't listen to the first turd out there. You can make 300 whp for under $1200.00.
