Well tonight was a fun night...met up with some buddies at our old chill spot and they wanted to run the balt...cars are chipped 05-07 golf gti 2.0t(stick),and a 01-03 golf gti 1.8t(stick) lightly modded..no passangers in either car



Cobalt vs chipped golf....we go on a light..light goes green and i pull a half car lead end of 1st,shift to 2nd and im pulling ahead 1 whole car,shift to 3rd and im still pulling on him and i released at 100 after 2 car win..

Cobalt vs chipped golf....we go from a 35 roll..i jump 1 whole car and continue to pull to about 100 when i let off..was bout 2.5 cars ahead of him..

Now i run the 1.8t
Mods:Borla turbo back exhaust,neuspeed coilovers,act stage 1 clutch with 12lbs flywheel

Cobalt vs 1.8t golf.....go on a green light and i jump half car and shift to 2nd im im ahead 1 whole car..shift to 3rd and im pullin ahead even faster....so i stop at 100mph

Cobalt vs 1.8t golf...he saw me race the new golf so he asks me to give him car lead...
35 roll....he got 1 whole car on me,and i was finishin 2nd gear it went down to half car,shift to 3rd and im passing him at around 70 and finish 3rd off and i got 1.5 cars on him..

We go back to the chill spot and they both shook my hand for the wins and told me,"Wow that cobalt hauls ass for a stock car."

all the sti owners congradulated me for the win and said,dont **** with that cobalt with that kid driving it...i was like..THANK You

wow the sti guys said that to you im suprised. over where i live the sti and the evo guys hates the ss/sc cobalts with passion. they think they are the kings of the roads hahhaah. my friend has a evo 9 with mods and its faster than hell. i belive he is pumping over 400 hp. we had raced a saleen mustang sick as hell and we smoked him by three cars

that's the problem. you're automatically inferior to a lot of people with cars that cost 35k+ until you've proven yourself.

Good runs. I used to own a vw and hated it when all the 1.8t owners always said "1.8t can never lose!" I still hang out with a bunch VW and they're always asking me to run them. When I'm on the road however, no one wants to run...I guess this is why!
