You're a funny guy. My car is very beatable, and far from fast. The funny part to me is people post all of these videos pulling the 5.0 with bolt on's and it's really confusing me. Soon enough Ford and I will run, and people will see what a properly tuned full bolted 5.0 will do. Ford will get me but not like other videos floating around show, that's a fact.
Ford nice video, and your car is coming along man.

I can't wait to see that race though! i have a real respect for the new 5.0's. a buddy of mine at work has a 2010 Camaro RS V6 with a 6 speed. he claims to beat SS camaro's and new 5.0's all the time. i just smiled and nodded. it frustrates me to talk to people about cars who know nothing about them.. my car would mop the floor with his camaro and a 5.0 would rape me.. lol

really? everytime i see a new fast car appear on CSRT4.net everyone always comments on the fact that it should race "clifton" so i'd say regardless of the facts, alot of people think your car sets the bar over there.. hell just look at the thread with the supercharged camaro.. if i had a nickle for everytime someone said "that car against clifton would be a good race" i'd be rich...

that could be why as well i guess.. you don't back down to a race and usualy have a vid to back it up too. :P i dunno. If that camaro is making that much power at the wheels through an automatic transmission and she doesn't have to worry about shifting it could be pretty quick! but who knows. all i know is the family is known for having fast cars so their track record speaks for itself i guess.

The 400 lbs lighter is probably the main difference. I don't see you having more than 440whp on your set up. weighing it at 3200lbs as well. It will be a good race, but as you said Ford will still take you.
440whp@3200 lbs NA V8 Vs 470whp@2900lbs FI Inline 4. Should be nice.

So Ford and Dart and Fastgti are some of my favorite people on this forum. Cool guys, cool cars and mod paths that I would likely take if I could afford it.
Anyway, Ford I love what you're doing. Keep representing.
Where do the people that you meet up with occassionally in Austin hang out online? I'd like to lurk the forum if they have one.
That vette sounds sooooooo good.

I'm not talking down, but I do not think you'd be more than 440 whp with pump gas, tune, headers/xpipe/catback and intake. Now with e85, I see you higher than that but still not enough to give Ford a run for his money.
Would like to see you guys run it for a nice comparo though!

People just need to see that Clifton has been destroying similarly modded 5.0s. I got him into a race group in san Antonio and he has made the other mustang look slow as *****. Hell he even has the sprayed 5.0 worried.

I've personally never raced a new 5.0. The older ones are just embarrassing.

Thanks a lot man, I appreciate the kind words. I'm sure with some time you can save up and join us!
It definitely will be interesting up top. I know the mustang is great on top end with some headers and a good tune.
