Stop trying to sound smart it doesn't fit you or Sneaky. With nitrous, it would be capable of mid-12s.

sure a cobalt could do it to if it had 150 ft/lbs of tq but having a supercharger kind of owns you with that off idle tq.

I have no doubt it could, but it hasn't. Just like a stock SS/SC could go 13s, but hasn't.

so an si with 220whp and 400 lbs of weight reduction can run 12's LOL. 400 lbs of weight reduction is ALOT! it would pretty much be very far from a stock si at that point.

that has nothing to do with it, it's just nobody has done that huge of an amount of weight reduction. you guys do realize that a stock si weighes 2850 lbs, so to get to 2500 lbs you would be either spending a ton of money in lighter parts and it would be nowhere near stock, or you would have a totally gutted interior with almost everything you could take of, off.

everybody says, oh blah look what these hondas can do all motor. this is a street driven crx that is all motor and it runs low 12's!!!! OMFG THAT'S CRAZY!!! who would have thought a car with all of the body replaced with carbon fiber parts, a totally gutted interior, lightweight race wheels, huge slicks, and no dashboard could run 12's?! half the time, these fast hondas are just barely a car when they run these times. strip 400 lbs off an ss/sc and it would be mid 13's with a great driver...hell strip 400 lbs off of my car and i would probably run high 13's, but wtf...who wants to do that, have no comforts on the inside of your car, and have it look like crap? ill tell you who. a honda owner.

So, you complain about someone not mentioning that they've also got I/E and DR's, but you skip the part about gutting 300-400 lb out of the Si. Something tells me the Si's not running stock tires, either.

Interesting.

Nobody said it was stock or close to, that is what is so rediculous about everytime this argument gets brought up. And some SIs weigh under 2900lbs stock so it isn't 400lbs. and 400lbs. isn't hard to take out of any Civic.

Interesting.
What??? How do you come to that conclusion???

All I said is with around a certain amount of power the SI can run 12s. I made no mention of other mods. He only said staged.

it is when keeping any of the interior intacked along with many of the body panels staying stock. sure an si could run 12's with 220whp...you forget to mention the part about how insanely far it would be from street trim at that point. that is like saying an ss/sc could run 13.0 with just stage 2...maybe with some big slicks and weight reduction, but it would do it...same argument, both are retarded.
