Accord Pwnage!
Was on my way home from hangin out with my DSLSJA buddies... not really expecting much to be happenin... wasn't really in the mood to throw down, just wanting to get home and have a beer or two. Sittin at the last light before my complex... two left hand turn lanes... when a green 4-cyl accord coupe rolls up beside me. As the lights for cross-traffic go to yellow this clown decides to rev his huge fart-can at me and roll up some. Now I'm not one to instigate, but if you rev at me... be prepared to go down.
So our lights finally go green, and I baby it nice and easy through the turn... he's right beside me. Then as we both straighten out I give her hell in 1st, right to 7000 and somehow manage to grab 2nd with minimal wheelspin. I ran out 2nd to about 60, shifted to 3rd, and held it there... his move. Well, to my enjoyment it took him a good 3 seconds to catch up. He passed me doing probably 70... no real ricer flyby... no flashers... and seeing that the local police precinct is about another mile down the road, I decided to let him go. Turned around in a nearby parking lot and headed to the house.
Not really what I'd call a worthy kill... with Stage 2 the local rice crowd around here isn't even a challenge anymore... but it was nice grin and chuckle kinda moment. Hope y'all enjoyed.

Ya know, I always think about that too when people get into races. I wonder if on other boards people show a totally different story.

Just one in this case... the car would have been pretty nice if it wasn't for the fart-can that was so huge it almost drug the ground... on an otherwise stock looking Accord coupe.
I've had a few other races in the past week... late 90's non-turbo eclipse, late 90's Si... and a primer red 4-door something with a huge erector set out back. None of them instigated by me. Pulled on all of them so fast that it wasn't even a challenge. I'd consider that the "local rice crowd."
Can't ever catch a Skittle, 'Stang, WRX, or RSX to run.

How I do so miss the days where I could get on it without spinning. Anything below 60 degrees and these tires suck.
I didn't get it anyways.

indeed... well, I suppose the wing is a bit gawdy... and the air-horn under the hood is loud and annoying but I think it looks nice. Other than that... I suppose everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Okay okay boys... let's not turn my have-a-quick-laugh thread into a flame war... please.

For the record I don't think SS/SCs look ricey. I personally consider having to puff out your chest at every person at a street light to be a bit ricey. Thats just me.

As I said... I didn't instigate it. And if I can't "bark" back at other tuners out there... what's the point? I enjoy it thoroughly.

i have yet to be challenged to a race for money. how does something like that even come up? i guess maybe it's because i don't really run my mouth about being able to rape someone's car.

I only run good friends for funzies. Besides that its a 20 dollar minimum, why waste the gas??? Especially on some lame ass that revs his **** box at a street light. 9 times out of 10 if someone revs at you they are not worth racing.
