Once you get the right mods on the cobalt the Altima won't stand a chance, but stock for stock the Altima SE-R will kill you.

There was a video somewhere out there of an SS S/C beating an Altima SE-R pretty easily, but I'm not sure where to find it or what the SS S/C's mods were...

In all honesty. Headers and Catback won't do anything near what a Staged Cobalt will do. There are some of us here in AZ making ~320-340 crank, and we weigh a lot lighter than an altima. Until he goes turbo you can beat him with the cobalt.

He might not believe you, but go look at what a Stage 4 cobalt can run in the 1/4, its trap speed, and its top speed. You would have to have a SERIOUS car to keep up with it, and a bolt on Altima is not one of them.

they're quick, but a stage 2 balt, especially from a roll race should take him. From a dig, even a stage 2 balt may still have it's hands full.

Those SE-R's are dope. The 3.5 is an incredible engine. Especially with a 5/6 speed.
