ANOTHER Great Night of Racing!
Lots of cars out this weekend. Vedy Nice! I rolled most of the night with my friends: black Stock SRT-4, a 10psi Boosted B16 Red Civic, a Silver Stg1 SRT-4, 1st Gen Talon, Silver 2nd Gen Eclipse, Black 2nd gen 16G Turbo Eclipse & a few others that I can't remember.
We cruised the city streets... going out of town to do some racing. Here are a few of mine.
First Race... we're sitting at the Hobby Lobby parking lot (It's right next to the Jugular street in town, nice large parking lot) ... and an 80's Z28 Camaro with cams and a header comes rolling through the parking lot... sort of playing with the gas pedal. Then he goes to leave... and my buddy with the Silver Eclipse yells, "No *****!"... SO of course he turns around and comes back.
"Who's SS?" Everyone turns and points to me... a slight smile crosses my face... what are the odds he'd pick me? We talk... car talk... then Someone yells, "RUN THEM! FOR CASH!" And this guy says, "How about for Pinks?" I couldn't help laugh... "No, dude... I don't need a Camaro." Blah Blah Blah... he goes to get gas and comes back 10 minutes later. Him and his G/F smoke like 10 cigarettes in 5 minutes and then we all jump in our cars. I was hoping for a close race... but in the back of my head I knew it wouldn't be. Video Sucks... but you can at least see it wasn't even close
Z28 CAMARO
We were gonna do a dig race as well... but some HS idiot in an Impala came flying into the parking lot we pulled in to and I got spooked... I thought it might be a Sheriff's Impala. Turns out it was a friend of the guy with the Black SRT... sure as hell scared the **** out of me.
Next i ran with the Boosted B16 & then the stock SRT... BUT after the third race with the SRT my G/F asks, "Why are the movies so dark... all I see is black?" My lovely G/F forgot to take the Lens cap off! So there is no point in posting them. I was side by side with Boosted & tore a hole in the SRT. I'm sure I will race the SRT again... But I did race the Boosted Civic again.
Twice. From 45 rolls. Initial Torque was the deciding factor.

We then went back to Hobby Lobby were there was a Procharged Mustang GT. Somebody asked me if I wanted to race it... Well of course!
Knowing I would get massacred... I led the way. It was a Sweet Stang. And it's Procharger was bigger than my head.

I can't tell what is going on in the Z28 movie,a nd the mvoie's title is a 80's firebird.

I know... for some reason... ALL night long... I kept calling it a Trans Am or a firebird... I need to hit myself. It was a Z28 though.

no times yet, Lots of roll races.lol. I can tell you, not to sound cocky but I havent lost a race in a while. 19lbs srt4s. All bolted Mustangs. Mach1s. GTOs. ANd I even took a procharged mustang on 5lbs by a fernder. Car is deff quick. Meth injection is coming soon.

Static Compression right now is 20.5 : 1 @ 17 PSI
When I get my pistons installed it'll be 21.6 : 1 @ 17 PSI, which is about the equivalent of 19lbs of boost on stock compression. Plus the Cams! I can't wait!
The owner of the Stg 2 SRT was talking **** on the local board about "how sad it is that with 2 cars of about the same hp, the SRT walked away... even having an extra person!"
He dyno'd 280whp... I busted his bubble telling him my SS would be LUCKY to have 260whp... but that it is probably closer to 250whp... and so it is sad that from a 45 roll the big bad 280whp SRT was only if front of the 250whp SS by about a foot or 2.
It made me laugh... He hasn't posted a response yet today... but I am sure it'll be funny too.

im surprised you hung with that mustang actually. do you know how much boost he was running? most run 10 psi and if thats what he was running he should have easily put twice that amount of lengths on you...

5 car lengths could be a second or better in a 1/4 mile. That car was moving on you hard, no offense to you but somebody has to look at taillights.
All of those cars shoud be trapping in the mid to upper 80's in the 1/8 mile which isn't slouching. Technology has come a ways, my car was almost 27k when it was new and it trapped 71 in the 1/8 stock. That's embarassing nowadays.

i cant ****** wait until my 2.6, 3in exhaust, 60lbers , hp tuners, tensioner , wideband , and cobra he ,get here , im so excited

i really hope so , i think it will be REALLY noticable for the sheer fact that im going from stock cat back to 3in cat back
bc i already have a header and downpipe the only thing thats holding the exhaust flow back is the damn stock cat back , and my 3 in downpipe bottles into 2.5 so it can bolt which doesnt help at all

just like you were supposed to run close with stock cobalt ss/sc's and then you got taken by a modded 2.2 , good one
i really hope so , i think it will be REALLY noticable for the sheer fact that im going from stock cat back to 3in cat back
bc i already have a header and downpipe the only thing thats holding the exhaust flow back is the damn stock cat back , and my 3 in downpipe bottles into 2.5 so it can bolt which doesnt help at all

You still kept up pretty well, even with the canned tune from procharger he should still put down at least 350 to the wheels.

me + another mustang guy vs 2 2.2's from this forum. This was a race that was not in january where i could actually get a launch off without spinning all the way through second. Don't get all pissed at me because you seriously think an ss/sc with a 2.8 should hang anywhere near a moderately boosted 4.6. You have no idea what an 11 second car looks like racing a 13 second car do you?

a stage 2 ss/sc from this forum racing one of my friends with an auto v6. wow the ss/sc is definately the faster car by far, but he lost? pretty sad huh? or maybe it is just driver error like me racing the 2.2. I am a very inconsistant driver, as i have stated before since i only have 4,000 miles on my first car, most of which have been in winter...

Well tell him I said hes a ******* idiot for running a boosted stang untuned! Seriously tell him that. 
Also if that is true expect the next race to be worse with the tune.
Second there is no way hes running high 11s maybe mid 12s. With a smaller pulley =10lbs of boost max on stock block, he should be around 400 rwhp depending on what other mods and how aggresive the tune is.
Very good runs though. What was the GT roll 40-1xx? You hung in there pretty good since centri cars start builing boost as the higher the RPMS.
