ok. so i just dropped my gf off at home...and when i pull onto the main road i see pretty little civic lights....and i wanna race cuz the roads are empty...so i slow down to 30...its a 45 zone.

but the jerk in the civic slows down more.
so im like whatever....i just keep going kinda slow.
then we catch a red light and he pulls up next to me.
on green i took it easy and he did to
then i punched it to see what he would do.
he didnt do anything....then we were going at about 35 and he tried to gun it past me so i put it into second and put about 2 cars on him...then he caught back up and he tried again...this time i hit my redline hard core in 2nd and still managed to put a car on him...then he flashed his brights and signaled me to get on the freeway....i was like whatever i need to take that anyways. he cuts me off to get on the freeway and when the freeway opens up i throw it into second as he guns it...i fly around him and him my redline hard core....im about a car ahead....then i hit redline AGAIN in 3rd....by about 100 im 3 cars up and i let off cuz of traffic and his ******* dodged through traffic thinkin were still racin then he dodges over 3 lanes of traffic to get off the freeway and flips me of.
so i should have one by more but my stupid ass cant shift tonight lmao

The aveo's are 103 HP at 5800 RPM and 107 max torque
98 Civic are around 120 HP, but non vtec in the 1.6L. But then again that's prolly Honda HP, and the engine has to get to 7000 RPM to get it.

Should have been an even match, factoring in that he's driving a car from the last decade.

Why is it that you get 50 races a month and I can't find anybody in anything less than a 350z or 2006 Mustang GT that will come near me?

haha I feel you guys.. When I had my sunfire, to find races was real easy. Now its preatty hard to find races... guess it goes with something that is a little faster.

well i STILL havent done my taxes...so i gotta do those and get the money back...and then im graduating so ill be getting a lot of cash for that . so it could be within a month if i find a cheap one....like right now theres a redline that there asking 14.4k for and i know i can talk them down....cuz it dont run right now lol. but i really want a balt so i might wait another month to find a nice used one for cheap.

so 1-3 months....3 is a worst case scenario hahaha
