i have a 2001 kawazaki ZRX 1200R and i have never lost on it. I have bigger carberators, jet kit, full Muzzy exhaust, smaller back sproket, K&N air intake, and a new injection system. The guy i bought it from used to run 9s in the 1/4 with it....Personally im scared shitless of it.

Listen...you may enjoy running them, but you really must enjoy losing to them more than anything because a slow 600 runs 11s and will be to top speed faster than any Mustang.
Oh so you can beat them in top end you say?

oop good story, i raced my friends suz drz400sm from a 10 roll he got the jump but i came back and caught up to him at about 45-50 and pulled a bit more on him until he maxed out

Drag car 500whp vs. stock set up 600cc bike. = bike
Street car 500whp vs. stock set up 600cc bike. = bike
Street car 500whp vs. drag set up 600cc bike = bike ( murder)
Drag car 500whp vs. drag set up 600cc bike. = bike
By drag car i am not talking about a ******* tubular frame metal bucket, just the typical car that still can be driven on the street.

When 90% of the bike vs car races end with the car being victorious it's for one of three reasons.
1- The bike was just plain slow
2- The car was a 1000hp S/C Z06
3- The fast bike was being riden by a slow rider
A decent 600cc bike will take a street weight car with 700HP with ease.
The biggest hold back is people who ride and have no *****. They do not understand the concept of downshifting more than one gear.

remember cody. when they put out the numbers for the 1/4mile times for bikes. The guy on the bike is usually like a jocky on a horse. I know that my car would run low 11's to high 10's. The rule of thumb with 99-04 mustangs is to have the same hp as the bike has cc. so a 650hp car vs a 600cc bike. Cody vs a 03 cobra was 8-10 cars. When i raced the "tune"03 cobra before i was tuned i had him by around 10 or more cars. Just the thing is not just cody but a lot of people think that just because someone else(magazines) has done it or ran awesome times on a bike or car they will. All riders/drivers are different and ride/drive different. doing the my stuff is better than yours because its mind bs is grade school stuff.
remember vito the turbo 03 cobra 700hp car ran down a 650cc bike and dead even until high speeds with a 750cc.

So what the **** was your point of that? Are you handicapped? That 600hp CORVETTE got its ass whooped in the quarter to a R1 which does not run much faster in the quarter then a 600. Who the **** counts a win a 185 mph specialy when a bike is limited to 155 ( for the 600).
Also, that was an R1.... it isnt limited to 155, its closer to 190ish in stock form
I know this is apples and oranges but 600hp car > 600cc bike... you need more bike if ya want a chance at the car
