Beat a Charger R/T

So I was on mcknight heading westbound at the 52nd street light when this silver charger R/T rolls up beside me at the light. He has the sticker package and everything and its a late 30s guy with a black leather jacket... I looked over him and he didnt look at me so i figured he didnt want to race.

Light turns grenn... I take off slowly ahead of him.... then i can hear the tone of his big Hemi go wide open throttle... I had just finished shifting into second for regular driving and was at 3500 rpm... I thought quickly about downshifting to first but said **** it and i just pinned it in second.....

he jumped a car and a half ahead of me, but at the end of second i had reeling him in neck and neck, i then shifted to 3rd and started to pull him. As I pass him i look over and give a huge "in yo face" smile but he didnt look. I then pull a car and a half on him nearing the end of 3rd gear.. and have to shut down becuase of the light ahead.

He comes beside me and gives me a huge nod and smile and i give a thumbs up.

I follow him to the C-train parkinglot and we chat for a bit. He said he was chipped and his "4 and a quarter horsepower" i said cool. I knew he knew nothing about cobalts becuase when i pulled up to him... he yelled.... "what do u got in that thing???????" I said its a stock supercharger... and then he said you must have nitrous too eh?. i said no lol

Anyways... I was surprised i pulled him so hard...... I think he was bullshitting me about being chipped. He told me he will come out to racecity on friday so we will see what happens then. It was a good race!

Good kill. I pulled on two of them in second from a light. They are rather slow.
