still not 400... still not going to matter, whether its 300, 400, 500, or seven ******* thousand
has a tune only Cobalt went in the 11s? Low 12s? trapped damn near 120mph?
I know you're a Ford fanboy and in this situation want to put the vette down, but PS, it'll walk the Gt500 as well, WITH its Ls3, not even one of the bad boys
oh and even better news, the 2011 Vette is lighter than the previous years by about 50lbs, left lane news tested one at 3208lbs

a cobalt with bolt-ons and tune can definitely give a stock corvette a run for its money. top end hands down would go to the corvette but i would say 45-120 is pretty fair game. not every corvette owner drives their ls3 at low 12's. on average most are in the 12.5-13.3 range. average bolt-on and tune cobalt driver is in the 13-13.3 range. a friend of mine will be ther first to admit he's not a good driver but he runs 13.2-13.3 all day at the track with 2.3-2.5 60 fts. a low 13 second fwd car can def give a mid 12 second rwd car a run for its money. OP good kill.

Where did the tune only come from?
Not saying it hasn't went faster but the fastest LS3 on dragtimes is a 12.1 (not that ET would be the deciding factor in a roll race) Most trapped 116mph, not one faster besides a grand sport that nipped 117..
I guess this Vette was driven to it's 100% potential in the most desirable conditions though during this race.....

Where did the tune only come from?

Thanks guys! But ya everyone can say the vette is faster than the Balt in the 1/4 but don't forget this was from a 45 so not a dead stop the guy didn't want to go from a dig. Yes the vette would have a better jump and better top end but holding off a vette by 2 1/2 cars from 45 to about 115-120 ish isn't bad at all for our little 4 bangers

OP you raced a 11 second car, there was no driver error and the weather/DA was perfect.
BTW you said some have hit nearly 120mph completely stock, have a link, I'm curious.

Why does everyone analize everything like these events happen on a test track ..... **** happens ..... people don't drive to potiental .....aren't in the right gear ....ect ...ect .
Back when my dad and I tested em out (he was basically stock c6 ls2 6sp ) when he started our 35-40 mph roll's in 2nd gear I was about 2 cars out by the top of 3rd ( superchips and DP at the time ) . If he was in 1st it was a whole different ball game.... fender to fender till 110 and he would start walking .
I'd love to tape it and test it out again with the trifecta tune but he had east coast install a paxton SL1500 on in october ..... the thing is a monster on 8psi .

lol ya but like i had stated above im sure if it was a drag from a dig sure he may have had me but this was from a roll and considering all of 2nd is just a tire spin unless getting it right, thats not bad to have 2 and a half lengths lol Perfect disguise if your asking me about a link on this 120, im not saying 1/4 mile trap speeds just what i hit from the run against the vette. i really wish i had a vid camera for this cause then it would be more believable but next time if something like that happens ill try to be prepared lol.
now that i mention it actually my best friend got a go pro camera for Christmas so maybe i can just borrow that haha

I have to admit ... his car is the first one I've driven that put me out side my comfort zone with just how hard it pulled .... and had to lift in 4th just cause i felt the car was taking me for a ride at that point .....not the other way around lol .
It made 565 Whp and 540 Wtq on east coast's dynapack . (Before people give me crap ... I know it's isn't the fastest thing in the world ect ect .... It's just the fastest thing i've driven.) I would not have a license very long if I owned it lol.

Nah, I was talking to 08inbama (pretty sure it was) that said they have hit almost 120mph bone stock...maybe they have but all I can find is 116mph...That would be like everybody getting 104 in the SS/TC and some one hitting "nearly" 108mph in a stock TC.

116 is deff the normal. Maybe it's me but 116mph is not "damn near" 120mph. IMO, that would be like 119.X

anything will have a shitty power curve when the turbo is as big as the motor and laggy as hell... i don't know why people always say supras have shitty power curves...i've seen plenty big power supras fly in the 1/4 mile... not all of them are setup to roll and even the ones that do roll go like snot... and keep up with or beat cars with supposed good power curves. not every supra has a huge laggy turbo so you're stereotyping the car.
hell the stock twin turbo supra with 320hp could hit 0-60 in a little over 4 seconds and nail low 13's at almost 110mph in the 1/4 mile. that's pretty quick in stock form nevermind having anything done to it...
