You are a little Bias... I'm sure you love your car as much as I love mine, however. Ounce For Ounce..

Its a German Car, which literally means it's a better built, better riding car to start out.

not. They need a fuel system upgrade along with a turbo to see anything over 350 whp and theyre still slow. Thats SAD

The germans dont know how to make good sport compacts.

and americans do? Most of the sport compacts here need fuel upgrades too. Our cars need fuel upgrades, blower/turbo swap, and a bunch of work to see 350whp safely...

Nice race man, would've expected him to walk you a bit.

Yea americans do make good sport compacts. SS/TC doesnt need a fuel system upgrade to make 400+ whp. The CSRT4 doesnt need a fuel system upgrade to make 400+ whp. The NSRT4 doesnt need a fuel system upgrade to make 350+ whp.

now what were u saying about germans making modder friendly good sport compacts?

I have a bud that works fo a used car dealership and is a great tech, went to school for that stuff.

The dealership moves a large volume of cars. Most are foreign. They sell warranties too.

He works on all makes and modles, whatever comes in the door.

He hates working on VWs and says they aren't real reliable.

I am a little biased. And I would never buy from VW. >.<

the ss/tc is capped around 350 without a larger fuel pump as most of the good tuners on here say. The CSRT and NSRT need injectors just like we do, i would consider that a fuel system upgrade.

thats NOT a complete fuel system. The GTI needs THE WORKS when its gets a bigger turbo. Injectors, pump, are easily installed.

key word here, easily installed. A new pump isn't hard to do and isn't all that expensive. If anything it's just a minor setback.

what about the fuel rails? The complete system change ( I believe they need a return style conversion done )? You dont need to do this on the SS/TC, CSRT, or the NSRT4. As for a fuel pupm, the CSRT doesnt need one. Only injectors.

The GTI still needs the complete job, and it costs A TON OF CASH. The GTI is garbage from a power/modding standpoint.

Those are not sport compacts......

a sport compact is a 4-banger that is quick out of the box, cheap, gets good gas milage, and is made to be modified. Those are not cheap, theyre actually 2x+ out of the price range of a sport compact.

the day we refer to ANY BMW or Audi as a sport compact econobox will be a cold day in hell.

those are both luxury cars more than anything.

ummmm... VW's only need a fuel pump and injectors for a bigger turbo. They can make 350whp on a turbo upgrade and bolt ons but its enough to break the stock rods so most people upgrade them.

And not to sound like a VW nutswinger but the interior is soo much better than Cobalt's. Less plastic etc... However, that doesnt matter if you dont care about the interior which could be a reason why you chose a Cobalt.
