Well last night I was coming home from work and I decided to take the short cut home (down thru Brazil) well there is this deuche **** in a yellow tibby GT in front of me doin 50 in a 55mph zone so i decide to pass him.... he has the duel fart cans on the back and as i pass him i notice his GF is staring a my car as I pass giving me th "WTF" look. Well right as I pass he then decides to pace next to me until i get tired of shakin my head and laughing. I go ahead and look over, when I do he proceeds to rev up at me and began blipping his throttle.

I honestly look right at him and his girl and I began to laugh.... his GF rolls down the window and decides that it would be a good idea to inform methat her BF's tibby V6 will blow the doors off my old peice of ****. well I just laugh and tell her Im sorry and don mean to sound like a complete dick but ur not worth my time. so for the next mile or so of desolate Brazilian highway he continues to egg me on. so finally I give in. I mean I had a rough night at wrk and could use a good laugh.

so we drp down to a 40mph pull.... i say f**k it and just drop to 3rd.... no need to waste my gas further and go from 2nd.... so we beep it off and ocourse he gets a fender jump on me and funniest of all his gf flicks me off out the window...but here is where my sig. comes into play.... no more turbo lag..... muhahahaha i rocket by once i it boost and im not even in the bulk of my power band and im a car ahead when i hit the brakes.... I hit maybe 65mph lol.... (in the process of blowing by them i made a sad face and and waved... like Im being honest lol true story)...hes pulls up again and says he let messed up and wants to d it again... I laughed and said WTF.. ok...... so this time I decided ima kill him.. I put the car into 2nd and instantly im about 2 cars ahead.. i hit third and run halfway thru it and hes about 2 buses back..... i then made my turn for my exit and got the flyby..... but my job was complete.. I made him look like an idiot in his tubby lol infront of his girl....

Anyways, the s13 has power adders from what i hear from the OP. I was just stating if the Tiburon actually had something done to it, it might have been a challenge. exhaust to me isnt considered a power adder, just an aesthetic factor.

show me a non turbo/supercharged 2.0L motor that chevy makes that can break out of the 15s with out power adders. anyways, this goes to my saying, all our cars are **** brick cars at some point. There wil always be someone faster. Hell, that kid with the tiburon is probably making the same kinda post in a tiburon forum somewhere talking about some honda civic or ford focus he smashed with ease and probably shouldnt have wasted his time posting about it . I know there is a group owning GTR35's that is probably laughing at our cars, saying they are worthless and anybody who wastes there moeny on them is fool. Especially with GM's place in the market. which by the way is bound to get better now since they reached flat bottom.

point is no 2.0L motor can break into the 14's without some huge amount of help. assuming you meant the 4 cylinder engine by this comment, beacause the v6 can certainly break into the 14s. without any power adders. Just need a good set of tires and drop some weight, lol.

Use that loan money for something more useful like an education, hell maybe even in the automotive world. More educated automotive tech supports are always welcome.

no I understand that is an idiot. clearly a boost 4 cylinder is better than an N/A v6 that was completely done under with a shitty intake manifold and small throttle body. If you swapped in a better intake manifold that car would be around ~210hp instead of that shitty 171hp that its rated at. And this has been a proven gain with the upper and lower intake manifold. hell I think a boosted 4 cylinder is more along the lines of comparible to a v8 n/a or Nissans Z v6 (which had alot of engineering involved)

yeahh.....a 2.7L v6 motor thank you and its 310whp is what the guys at newtiburon.com are experiencing. with just a supercharger.
