Chargert R/T Vs. 09 SS

So I passed a charger R/T on the highway, not thinking anything of it and about 1-2 minutes later the guy is on my ass. I finally get up ahead of traffic and get in the right lane and he floors it. I decided to drop it into 3rd at about 75 when he got to my rear bumper and I think he might have made it to my door before I started to pull away.

I was impressed with the Charger, I didn't walk it as bad as I thought I would. Probably had 4 cars on him by the end of 3rd. I let off a little and slowed to about 95 as he caught up and I went again. Shifted into 4th this time and I put about 5 cars on him by 130. I then let off because my exit was coming up and there was traffic ahead. He proceeded to fly by me while flipping me off and he cut off a car to get off at the same exit I was.

I was quite impressed that it managed to hang in there with me though, would have like to talk to the guy but he must of been one of those "My V8 can't lose to a 4 banger" guys... Props go to the Charger R/T though, not a bad car.

Cobalt SS mods: Stock airbox mod, ZZP downpipe, Tune

Charger R/T mods: Looked stock but who knows.

Cliffnotes: Charger R/T rode my ass so I got over after traffic and put 4 cars on him by the end of 3rd.

That definitely wasn't a stock Charger, according to motortrend they trap 100mph stock. You're tuned and won by four cars, he had something under there, it sucks he was a deutche and you didn't get to talk to him.

4 cars is a lot... I don't see why you guys are considering that close.. lol.

I love I the beat the V8 war stories. There awesome. No wonder he lost. 4085 lbs holy ****. pwr to weight ration of 11.1 just doesnt seem like much for a 368 hp engine, but that weight kills. Whats a tuned SS power to weight ratio (average)?

I figured I would walk him, looked like stock exhaust, but they may have aftermarket exhausts that sound close to stock.

It was pretty close. I could just get him into my rear view mirror.

That's what I thought it would be.

I made 286whp on ZZP's dyno before I put my dp on so I estimate I'm in the 297-302whp range
