Yeah, and actually it was a 87,000 car!!! They are selling for 5-10K over sticker around here!!! He is the one that started the "WAR" not us! Yeah he has put some serious bank under this car... We are going to get it painted in March its going to be Graphite Grey Pearl... the gunmetal grey color on the Evos... He is going to do it very tastefully!

If this happens on the street that Honda is going to get get ATE up.

he said multiple times that they're going to the track once it opens...
if you know someone that got a new z06 for 60,000 let me know where... around by me there more like 75-80+...

Okay, I just got of the phone with my buddy.... The vette is stock running the stock tires and wheels..... the honda just got a new set of spoon fat fives in 5x9 with slicks.... So it will be the honda on slicks vs. a bone stock vette oh, I'm sorry it has a K&N filter.... and the vette owner hasn't driven a manual car in 12 years!
Oh, I will get it on video for everyone.... It'll prolly take place in 2 weeks (weather depending) once they open free runs at the local track here!!!

There's your answer right there. I doubt he will be running anything under a 12 flat.

Something is bound to wear out, break, or go out of tune. If it was that easy to make a 600+ HP Civic, and drive it everyday all around town, why wouldn't there be 1000's of them out there. Why wouldn't Honda offer a even a 300HP Civic out of the factory? Becuase it isn't that easy. A full blown race car (which this thing is apporaching engine wise) rebuilds it motor every couple of races. And its not just because of the money involved.

I'm sure he'll kill himself condsidering he's driving a Z06. Also the car is 70,000 plus whatever markup the dealer's decide to add on. Whats the shame in losing to a freakin race car. That civic has an all out built engine that revs to 9000 rpm and runs 30#'s of boost. Hell i would congradulate the guy on building such a fantastic engine instead of instantly commiting suicide.

Put the money on the Vette.. those POS Hondas NEVER run what they're "Supposed" to.. Helen Keller could beat that Honda driving a C6Z... 11.5's all day long around here.. pieced together Honda=Garbage..

What a build! That sounds like a sick Honda motor, pics PLEAASE. Blah blah blah, C6Z is the greatest.. What a terd, yea the car is amazing in all of its beauty, but by no means should a car with such an amazing build be down talked because someone else could afford the 70k a C6Z cost.

Anyone remember the episode of pinks with the 500whp F-body vs the 520whp Civic?
20 carlenghts ring a bell??
Honda owners are well known for overestimating..

HAHA, that F-body had well over 500whp and the civic had WAY less.
Bringing up "Pinks" is worse than magazine/bench racing.

it is an interesting challange but you need to also remember the zo6 weighs a lot less then the normal vett. and I have heard of them getting in the 10's with a good driver stock.

if I had a PENNY for every slicked, gutted POS civic at the track running 13-14+ I'd have my own C6Z.... I live at the track, do you??? anyone that's spent enough time there will back this up... even if that car runs the C6Z, the chances of a completed pass, in that PEICED together crap box are probably less than 30%...
and for the guy posting the Vette weighs 3300+, try 3100 & one at the track w/driver was 3120.... so there go"ith" that theory.. That car will trap 125+ when driven competently, driver error aside all the pressure is on the "Race Car" and it's crew.. talk is cheap, report back please.. I love this argument, seen it before ALWAYS with the same outcome..
