if I had a PENNY for every slicked, gutted POS civic at the track running 13-14+ I'd have my own C6Z.... I live at the track, do you??? anyone that's spent enough time there will back this up... even if that car runs the C6Z, the chances of a completed pass, in that PEICED together crap box are probably less than 30%...
and for the guy posting the Vette weighs 3300+, try 3100 & one at the track w/driver was 3120.... so there go"ith" that theory.. That car will trap 125+ when driven competently, driver error aside all the pressure is on the "Race Car" and it's crew.. talk is cheap, report back please.. I love this argument, seen it before ALWAYS with the same outcome..

all things said it should be a good race, but i say if the civic is all modded up the vett should be allowed to as well. Road and track sais 12.2 for a totally stock 06 zo6, but then again the road and track guys cant seem to drive so take it how you will.

i wanna see the vette win. do i think it will no bc the guy probly cant drive good enough
but hes up against a race car. the honda even w/ all its mods cost what 10k maybe. even tho the vette is still 65000$ more they arent even in the same league the vette is out classed power wise. not bashing the honda but they guy with the vette got what he paid for i think, an uber fast car that looks great, leather interior probly a nav system, great sound system, a push button start which is the coolest thing ever to me lol. the honda guy took a beater and built the moter and he also got what he paid for. its all relative i guess, but if the honda wins its gonna be oh i kicked your 75000$ cars ass. but the way i see it is the are very few stock cars capable of 11s, and if you get one your spending big bucks for it. anything besides a super high end sports car running in the 11s at a track is definitally entering race car status in my eyes. so its a race between a stock car and a race car( my definition of a race car; any thing that exceeds the stock capacity of the engin so if you need to upgrade interals to hold the power i consider it a race car thats just my opinion tho) anyway the vette is up against a race car and the race car should win.
if this makes no sense its bc im tired and well it was superbowl sunday lol i think i have a good piont tho

I really hate it when I am cruising down the Parkway with my family and all the luggage needed for a two week vacation, towing my Boat & BTW running shitbox imports at the track, that are "supposed" to run 12's, only to pull off a (Very Noisy) 14.0 on slicks.. Sucks to have the best of both worlds doesn't it? That's right you wouldn't know would you???

i think 12's in your truck is amazing, and it's def. something to be proud of... sure there are faster cars, but i mean damn... 12's in a trailblazer is pretty damn good...

my buddy has an all white c6 z06. Some guy t boned him, and when he had it fixed he had them paint it all white, its sick. anyway, stock he pulled off an 11 flat. with the full exhaust and intake he pulled off a 10.8. so its going to be really close....really close.

Kinda like the old school muscle cars that are tubbed, slicked, roll caged, and running 12's-13's .. Between the ricers and rednecks, i dont know who talks more smack for having a 13 second car..
