cobalt 2.2 VS mustang 5.0
well last night i raced a 5.0 mustang just for the hell of it and i actually WON! i was no way but i did i was in awe. but he did give me a 1 sec head start but he didnt even get closer, beat him by like 1.5 car length. just thought ill share the pride of having a cobalt beat a 5.0, peace.

lmao, funniest story i have heard in a long time, dude you have a slow car, umm it was probably a 4 cyl mustang ,older style, lmao, nice story though, learn how to type also

dude you should know better than to post any type of race wins on here.... people will just bitch and call bs....
but id it was an 80's gt then they are slow.... if ity was beat its even slower.... mid 15-16 sec car if it was still original so it is possible

well if it was a 5.0 fox body, he either wasn't trying, or he just went from 1st to 5th lol. It was probably a 4 cylinder fox body. a kill is a kill and if he was racing and you beat him you beat him. I am not saying it wasn't a 5.0, i'm just saying it is highly unlikely. they are high 14's cars stock.

But anyways, yes, the 5.0's WERE fast stock. But put 25 years and 150k+ miles on them, on any engine for that matter, and the results will be quite different. I'd beleive it, especially with the head start.

aww my comment was totally un-called for, my bad, wasnt trying to be harsh, but theres some people that needa learn that their 2.2 isnt fast, maybe its just where im from? all these 2.2's trying to race me, who knows, i was aggrivated early when i posted that, so im sorry nice win, but i really doubt it was a 5.0, even of the age, maybe the driver really sucked, who knows,

yea i love my 2.2 but i know its not a racer...I had a guy in and srt4 pull up next to me trying to race i looked at him n laughed like yea right bud...youd leave me in the dust lol
