I've raced two 5.0s and raped both of them, granted they were both beat. I've raced a v6 like 98 mustang, after he reved his engine at me. i ripped him off the line and he backed off. I've also raced a 03 gt...my brothers, sure he was behind me at a light but when i droppped the hammer he did as well...and when i hit a buck 25 and he was 2-3 car leanghs behind me, I consider that a win. believe me if he could have passed me let alone get beside me he would've.

oh yea, My friend has a 2.2 ls, and they are def surprizing, in fact her ls is what opened my eyes to the cobalt. the 2.2 has alot of pep.

The 2.2LS is a slow vehicle. It is to be used for commuting and an economical ride, it has ample power to stay with competition in its class like suzuki areo's and ford focus. It is not fast nor was it made to be.

he is simply saying that the 5.0's are much faster vehicles and i really don't mean to be an ass, but come on guys dont kid yourselves. he may have beaten a 5.0 driver and good kill if he did, but if the guy could drive/ his car run right he would have owned the 2.2. we are talking a high 14 second car vs a high 15 second/ low 16 second car...it is just not realistic to compare them.

so your saying mid 14 from the factory with out any additional parts or stage kit isnt fast? you should look at the other cars in the inline 4 cyl class and think about what you said

Fast is just a relative term. I think I remember d42usot..whatever saying that he had experience with a lot of fast cars, not sure if it was ford or chevy, anyway, guys like this tend to think since they were around or drove a lot of 11 second cars that 14 second cars are not fast....I hate that douche mentality, but oh well. Anyway, what is fast to you is not to him. A 14 second car is pretty quick or fast or whatever.

i raced a old mustang probably bout the same year. had 2 cars on him. yeah u can get a old ass engine wit so many miles on it and so many results can happen. i was very surprised. the 2.2 is pretty fast. u can ask any of my buddies..that car also rapes new c6 vettes off the line. i raced one and he beat me be like 2-3 cars. dont doubt any of those cars...there are many cars that those cars and kill and lose to. and there are many cars a 2.4 or 2.0 can win to or lose too. so dont just be saying that ****. but i do beilive that ****...lol

I beat two of mustangs bad at the track with STAGE 2 Stock I would be right with one of them. the White mustang in the Video on my CARDOMAIN Page was a 15.5 second car. most are like this when the owner does nothing or does stuff with no improvement or is a hinderence. there are lots.

I dont know enough about a 150HP Cobalt 2.2 but if it is underated in its power delivery than it may be able to do 90Plus in a 1/4!? so who knows what really happened. He says he was ahead. no clock or times are possible to share so what ever. I dont think he is lying. so lets not call bs on him.

What kinda jeep cuz ive burned 3 liberty's w/ the 3.7 but those arent meant to be fast anyway. Grand cherokee is too heavy to beat even a 2.2. either way the 2.2 is quick by my standards and w/ spray putting down 215-220 at the wheels makes that little thing boogie man. it is a whole nother beast on spray, but so is everything else lol

Edit: nah ill go all motor. u said a friendly race so i wont spray on you and actually make it a race. if i spray its over. Instant 50-75 (depending on my mood lol) on tap. WOOOT!

i am currently putting down consistant 15.9-16.1 w/o spray. i expect a low 14 to high 13 w/ spray.Accident happened before i could get to track and run the beast on spray

ok guys ill try to get the video. u can ask some of my buddies w/ 2.0L SS/SC and yeah i had the c6 off the line and he got me by 3 cars...all u guys do is degrate all our cars, and it sucks. well i dont have my 2.2 any more...so now its a different story when i get my new car.

degrate your car? dude...i will not say this didn't happen, but i will say it is rediculously unlikely and you have to understand why people don't beleive it. you are talking about a 400hp sports car vs a 150hp economy car. this is like putting a stage 2 ss/sc against a z06 or a ford gt.
