Cobalt s2 vs Srt s2
Well a friend just called me and he got his s2 installed on the car...he asked me if i want to run him tonight after i get off work...so i told him ill see u at the spot we meet up at...any predictions
My mods
Gmp s2 with custom Tune,air box mod,cat back exhaust
Srt mods
Mopar s2,agp wga(spikes 17-18 holds 15 redline),turbo-back exhaust
I would video tape it,but i dont want any passangers in my car while i run...i have better luck when im alone
UPDATE....................
We ran on the highway 2 runs...40-120mph
1st race i had him by half car
2nd race he decideds to power shift and beats me by 1 car..
WOT on any stage on the srt4 does help the car not loose boost..ive had an srt and i knw that for a fact

This is me running a mopar stage 2. He didn't have the wastegate on it though, so he was on stock boost. So basically he wasn't a full stage 2 but atleast you can see how it ran.

nah bro... dont do roll.... i had same set up as your boy and i destroyed at balt on highway... from about 50 roll.... best bet is a dig.... my srt fell on face in 1st gear but 2nd 3d and 4th were my power gears

i raced a s2 srt when i was bone stock and lost by 2 cars..40-100mph...and now i beat stock srt's by about 2.5 cars or so,little more from a dig...

Stage 2 SRT-4's are way too over rated by Neon fanboys.
A decently driven true Stage 2 not a basatrd creation " Stage 2 " should run a mid to high 13 around 102-105mph. And thats with excelent traction and really good driving. My Stage 2 SS/SC did 13.7 @ 104mph on the decent yet stock Pirelli's and no other mods.
If you listen to anyone with a Stage 2 SRT-4 they will make them out to be LS1 killers and they don't come close.

Your R/T doesn't count so you ran a 13.5. R/T only matters in bracket racing. You can sit there for 5 seconds and then go, your ET will be the same, just the R/T will suck ass.

Dude a LS2 GTO and LS1 F-Body is a good driver away from a 12.8 not a SS SRT-4. But go ahead and tell people that, it just makes destroying then in my 99% stock GTO that much more fun.

i dunno.. a stage 2 i know ran a 12.9x at 110...
maybe its the air up here but most stock SRT-4s around here are trapping little bit over 100 mph
there is a stage 2-only srt-4 in this video vs my friends supercharged mustang (way old dyno numbers)

stage 2 is very ambiguous for srt4s
alot of them will still tell you they are stage 2.....but they are so ghetto'ed past S2 that its bullshit
Ive seen straight up S2 neons with a catback dyno @ 250whp on a dynojet.

The only time reaction time comes into play is in a race.
If your opponent has a better reaction time, obviously, that gets him/her that much closer to reaching the finish line before you.

s2 srt-4's are low 13 sec cars at best, usually mid 13's. the stage 3's are the monsters. I would say go from a dig, he is gonna rip you a new ******* from a roll if he knows how to drive.

As far as the race, from a dig if you can launch you'll prolly have a lead till he gets in 3rd, where he should be truckin right on by! From a roll, you should get beat. And they say SRT4 drivers are cocky! Check this guy out!^^^^^^ When I was S2 no toys, intake, motor mounts, stock downpipe with gutted cat, and borla exhaust, I pulled on a stock 6.0 ls2 GTO. So lets not get too cocky here!
Anyways, to the person that said that the stage 2 srt4 is a hgiht 13 second car at best, your a dumb ass. I ran a 13.3@108 spinning 1st and some of send, with a CRAPPY 2.1 '60 foot. As far as the race, from a dig if you can launch you'll prolly have a lead till he gets in 3rd, where he should be truckin right on by! From a roll, you should get beat. But ya never know, wierd things happen on the street.

Sorry but people like you just add to the bullshit. You are the classic guy who adds "spinning through first" after the time slip listed in your sig. If you were on street tires 2.1 is most likely the best 60 ft you will see. Your trap speed looks fishy as hell anyway so I would assume you didn't run a 13.3 either.

i ran a s2 srt last saturday night and he said he had the wastegate with the injectors and the computer with something about turbo toys???? he was lowerd with motor mounts and we ran from 35-120 six times.. out of the six i won 3 times and he the other... he said his water injection was ******* up heres is car
good luck racing him.. do you srt guys see anything differnt then what he says he has??? i dotn know what to look for on those cars

I think water injection would would **** up anyones car!
The only thing water related with the Stage kits is the IC sprayer that hoses the IC down with water to rapidly cool the air charge.
