Without having to lean him into the 12s up top, he will pick up a bit of power just by dropping down to a 2.5 or 2.6 and improving his exhaust.
If that won't be enough... I have a little trick up my sleeve that's currently in the testing phase.

you fail to noticed that the K20a is the best NA motor ever built.
Take the price diffrence, wich is about $10- $12,000 between RSX-S and Evo. drop that diffrence into an rsx and you'll beat an evo. what im tryin to say is that you paying all that money to get a mid 13sec car.
Im taking it that you seen the video of the Cobalt, Evo and I?

As for the price difference, REALLY? Thats ur best argument?
Did it ever occur to you that IF you can afford an evo, you can afford to mod it? Did it also ever occur to you that AWD 50/50 distribution with LSD in the rear tires is going to kick the **** out of ur FWD down the track and around the twisties.
I could argue a $500 rustbucket civic with 20k in mods is better than ur RSX. Really? Is that what u do when u buy a car? Get a loan for an additional 10+k? No, I dont think so.
And whats funny is I dont have hardly any mods and I know for a fact I would crush you in the 1/4 mile based on those vids. So really, price? I can make 400 awhp and run 11's for around 2k in mods. Can u do that? I dont think so.
As I said, u get what u pay for, and in the case of the RSX you dont get jack **** and its WAY over priced. I would take an LSJ or LNF ANYDAY of the week over an si or RSX. Why is that? Because having over 400 FWD and expecting to hook as good as AWD or RWD is just retarded. I can see u guys dont realize this yet, so I will let u learn with time.

I richen the AFR's up top also, but I still revved it out even when I had stock internals. It's better for the gearing. The drop from 1st to 2nd sucks ass in these cars.
It's also proven faster. Back when I was bone stock, me and another friend that was also bone stock raced a few times and we were dead even. The first thing I ever did was bump my rev limit from 6500 to 7500. That alone would allow me to put more than a bus length on him. Seriously, like 5-6 car lengths and more as we went faster and faster, it was ridiculous.
I also proved it at the track, I picked up over 3mph, over 4mph in the 1/8th, but I was heatsoaking really bad the day I went with the rev limit bumped. Dropped a few tenths.
I miss my dsm's, I should have kept my auto 1g tsi awd.

I would have to say the LSx's are the best NA motors ever built. Ur K20 doesnnt hold a flame to a nice LS1,LS2,LS3, etc motor. Sorry bud.

What do you think Steve?
But wait, I seen many Dyno sheets and if i recall correctly, we only make power until 7 rmps and after that is down hill. Correct me if im wrong.

So your saying if i rev all the way to 7500 rpms it would be beneficial? I mean, it seems like you have tested and proven it works. I might try it next time!

Do I want you to start floating something in your valvetrain? No, so please don't rev out to 7500 on your stock HEAD!!! PLEASE LOL
Now if you want, I can get you in touch with my good friend Euthanasia who does a lot of LSJ porting. He can get you set up w/ a ported and built head that will rev to 8000 rpm.
You port your head, and your friend w/ the RSX is gonna need to go forced induction.
Our stock cams stop making power at roughly 6850.

Name me one person who floated a valve and destroyed the motor from revving to 7500 and their motor was damn near stock.
On the ported head comments, you are absolutely right. A properly ported head, even if it's mild, would put a spanking on that RSX worse than he can imagine.
HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at that 105 trap speed. He would destroy you with the right "kill" tune.

I dunno. I don't know how bad the stock LNF head is. I know the stock LSJ head has a LOT of room for improvement. I've already had mine street ported, it's currently back at the machinest being ported again but we are going for bigger numbers this time around. I got bigger valves also.
