As I'm making my way pass him, I see him weave through traffic a bit to get beside me. It takes a little while, but he finally decides he wants to see what this RSX has under the hood. I hear him down shift and I wait for that supercharger whine to let me know he is getting on it...
Funny, because although I know he was flooring it; he sure didn't have the getup and go that I was expecting with that blower. So needless to say, I follow suit and downshift into 3rd (we were going around 75mph). What happens next is what I can best describe as a AMTRAK train pulling past a stationary object. I think a better description is the length of space between my car and his after finishing off my 3rd gear is that there was enough space for an AMTRAK train to fit.
After I let off, he clearly does not want to line up with me again. In fact, he speeds through traffic to make sure I don't get beside him again... So I couldn't give him a thumbs up for effort or even
If you see this thread, let me know if you're down for another run if maybe you were in the wrong gear... I sure hope so.

I would really like to see what his engine looks like with that S/C on it. thats just my two cents.

lol.. nah man.. a race is a race.. who knows? im not doubting the guy.. but you'd have to come down to Windsor to have some fun.. i have a few cars you would honestly have a lot of fun with.. not meaning all tough tough.. like honestly get along with.. RSX-S' are great, gorgeous cars.. but in my standing, they are too mature and too finessed for my taste.. maybe when I get older I would get into one.. im still 21 and need to have the sport with squeaks and rattles..

I'll try that some time.
We have a lot of members that don't drive a G5 or Cobalt. We should listen to their stories so we can learn to be better car enthusiasts.

i have a friend that just bought an 04 type s and he's a really good driver. i raced him in my 2.2 and i kept up through first and second gear but then he started pulling nicely. i can see how he would beat an ss if he was supercharged. maybe. still only has like 150 tq

There is no maybe, a s/c type-s would destroy an SS/NA and should be able to walk a stock~slighyly modded SS/SC depending on how much boost it's running. Hell just w/ bolt-ons like I/H/E and it'll put busses on an NA SS (even if the SS/NA has the same mods).

I wholeheartedly agree that a supercharged type-s would spank any stock cobalt of any trim in existence.
8000rpm + M62 = PWN.
This is obvious though. Why the heck WOULDNT it be faster!?
The original poster was still an ass for posting the way that he did though, and for that he deserves to be char-broiled for whatever is left of this thread.

Wow, some of you guys get cranked up easily. No pictures of a car, no timeslips, no nothing but a bad attitude and a story told a way that he most likely knew would bend a lot of people out of shape. With those 4 points alone means Blacknite=TROLL!
