Cool cobalt ss/sc vs grand prix gt and a speeding ticket

so today i was on the way home from work and a white grand prix gt gets along side me. he starts to lunge forward and tryin to get me to go so i dropped it into 2nd and showed him wat i had. i pulled bout 3 cars then slowed it down bc he had no chance. right as we were slowin down a cop passed me in the other lane. ilooked back and saw him bust a u. i knew i was screwed. he blew by me and after the white car. but then he passed that and blocked off the road. he told us both to pull over and gave us a ticket for doin 69 in a 35. hahaha ive only had my car a week and ahalf. i almost got outta it 2 bc i knew the cop and my uncle is a cop for the city i live in. he woulda let me go if he didn write the ticket up already. but newho i got court next wed. shall b fun. gotta love the cobalt ss/sc. so im def investin in a radar detector. but safe drivin

Lame to get a ticket for racing a Grand Prix. That car is not worth getting a ticket over.

that sux bro

i was on a local highway by me (for those of you that live in the area, i was on 17 in Paramus)...im cruisin up in the left lane doing bout 70-75 and i passed and EVO and i knew he was gunna chase after me. and soon enough here he comes chasing after me and blew past me, so i figured i *** around wit him so i chase after him. i hit bout 90-95 and something told me to slow down and i went wit my gut feeling. slowed down to bout 65 or so and got in the middle lane. then here comes this old Jeep Cheerokee in the left lane flying and im like WTF if this jerk off doin. then i see lights and sirens and he pulls over the EVO. a fukin undercover cop in a dam, old ass cheerokee, i mean WTF. good thing i listened to the gut feeling cuz i bet that kid got screwed and hit wit a ticket.

I beg to differ. If its a stock gt like in this race, not worth the gas, but at GTP will give ya a run for your money, especially one that has had some money put into it. There are also getting to be a few grand prixs floating around with aftermarket turbos that you wouldnt even touch.

Nothin against cobalts because i love them but a mod'd GTP or turbo GT will spank ya.

If you are doing something like that an a cop comes flying PAST you. You should turn immediately or bust a u turn.

This happened to me on the interstate. The cop took off down the off ramp me and the guy I was messing with were on. So I merged back on to the highway to see the cop had the off ramp blocked. lol.

Even though till this day I dunno what kind of car it was I was racing. I didnt recognize it, and it had 4 people in it. Pulled on me pretty hard for a small car with alot of weight....

My car before this was a GP GT. I had 1.8 roller rockers, Wizaired CAI, DHP PCM, Ported Throttle body, 180* drilled t-stat, ported and powder coated exhaust manis, 3" Downpipe, and a U-bend delete. I could hold my own in a majority of races. But on top of that i was getting sick KR, missing in the upper RPM's, and my evap system was giving me fits. Some GP's can & will hold their own.

The only reason i got rid of it was that i was having SC envy, but now that i got this i couldn't be any happier. The Cobalt SS/SC has tons of potential that is being released verry sooon.
