2nite a guy i know that goes out to the meets with the cobra, well he has x pipe and thats it, we did a 40 roll and he got me good from the jump and i also missed 3rd but after this he wasnt pulling me anymore till we stopped at 120, he was only 2 and a half car lengths ahead of me, i thought it would have been way worse, but for the mods i have im only pushing 17 to 18 psi, that should be correct right?

I thought that 2 too, but it turned out not 2 be, sometimes I think I just have a factory freak

No, you missed third and then got back into it and stopped his pull? I think your eyes are deceiving you as you didn't stop his pull. You trap between 105-107 and he traps between 110-113.

Not that factory freak word again I think half the people on this site think they have factory freaks or the driver mod!

i trap more then 107, i think i trapped that when i had the 2.8 pulley on and the 42 injectors, my last trap was a 110, i would average a 108 to 109

I trapped 106 with my 2.9, why does everyone have such a hard time believing a 110 trap with more mods??

maybe cause they have the same mods and cant do it, some people think cause they cant no one can, and no i dont have slips from the track strip laying around, i never go up to the box and get them after i race

yeah, well, this same site also used to tell my buddy it wasn't possible for a cobalt to do this or that with this or that stage done to it................then he would post slips.

i guess ill just have to remember text time we go to the track to get my slips so i can have some kinda proof, sense some people on this forum dont believe in driver mod

X2, i ran a 10.9 but i forgot to keep the slip.

so my question is, if you never drove to the box to get your slip how'd you know your time and trap speed? all the tracks i race at have the signs right at the traps, so you'd have to be trying to read the sign right as you passed it, and i couldnt do that and i only trapped 104. . . .

I did a little run with a 04 cobra and he never stopped pulling away from me, I trapped 108 at the drag strip. unless you have some crazy nitrous button he is going to run away from you.

This has to be a joke... There is no way a factory freak could do this.. You would dyno what, maybe, just maybe 300WHP. That Cobra would eat you alive.... Sorry to doubt you but that is unbelievable, did you have you glasses on?

Also 17 to 18 psi on a 2.6" you must need glasses I run that with a 2.8" and also have full exhaust.

Not trying to be a dick but that Cobra had to have been pushing the throttle half way down, and you missed 3rd... doesnt add up.

i think the cobra was throttling him, i've done it to honda's and what not before, make them think they have a chance when they really have none at all.

Yeah I agree .... I'm boosting 16psi and thats with the GM Stage 3 76mm pulley. He should be boosting close to 20 psi with the 2.6 pulley ....

You are correct. I have seen a guy with full 3" exhaust running 21 PSI with a 2.6"..

You guys are so not educated on what kind of power the 03 04 cobras put down stock w/ x pipe. No, dont go look on a forum and see what SOME have done. We have Cobras up here that run in the 13.6-14.0 @ 105mph on street tires. These cars have an intake and x-pipe. They are virtually stock. I have dynoed and built many of these cars, the story is not that unbelieveable. I will put my experience up against your bench racing anyday.

We are speaking of the 03-04 Terminator Cobra's that are supercharged. . . i think a one handed midget could run better than a 13.6 in one.

unless of coarse you are 7000ft above sea level.

and for fugg sakes its a roll race, even my little sister who is only 15 knows how to hit the gas and shift a gear!
