Cobalt SS/TC vs Evo X

So me and my buddy just got new cars, I got the cobalt ss and he got the evo X. I was actually looking at getting a evo X but the 47 grand price tag was enough to throw me off the idea.

Anyhow we went from a 60km/h roll and we were neck and neck. When we shut it down I was about half a car ahead of him.

He was shocked, but then we went from a dig and he raped me pretty hard... damn awd lol

Anyhow it was fun, both cars were stock by the way.

if it's a stock evox, you should have been able to pull a few cars on him from a roll. Those only trap like 100mph on the high side.

stock EVO X arent anything glorious, watch out for the tuned and lightly modded ones tho. mod for mod the X will take the TC.

GM deff stepped it up with the TC.

I figure once the ECM learn-down feature is removed by GM or a tune, the TC will be just as capable with comparable mods. It'll be interesting to see how far the LNF can go as more people experiment with it when they have the ability to . I agree though, the Evo is an incredibly simple car to modify with impressive results .

I ran a new WRX, non STi, but they are almost just as quick. This guy has exhaust, intake and the Cobb tune or some **** like that, and from a 30 roll we were neck and neck, and from a 40 roll I pulled a car or so.

both cars are slow stock modded and tuned then your talking. and as far as the mod for mod comparision lets take the money we save from the SS/TC, and put it into the SS bye bye EVO

ss/tc's gain a lot from just a tune, but so do evo x's. Mitsubishi did bascially the same thing, detuned it from the factory.

Anybody catch where the OP said they just bought the cars??? Are the cars past their break-in period? If not, then Ralli might be right with the SS/TC pulling a few cars.

the ultimate ricer logic. Let's take the money you'd save on getting a damn aveo and mod it compared to a stock ss/tc. Hell with ten grand I could swap the lnf drivetrain into the aveo and modify it. it would murder a stock ss/tc.

Stock EVO= Slow. People act like thats a new concept. I do agree on one thing, the TC is decent when modded.

yea i was looking at a evo x as well....same reason why i didnt buy it...47k is bullshit for that. I'd rather spend $49,000 on a 2009 Supercharged Mustang Saleen.
