If you launch and evo like a sane person it will not run those amazing times. It helps having a 1.5 sixty foot.

how does a sane person launch an awd car with an extremely strong drivetrain?

5500, slip, knee jerk and you're off!

Hey I LOOOOOOOOVE my SS/TC but I gotta say if I could have afforded an EvoX I'd have one. Sure stock for stock for less money the SS/TC is right up there. But you get a LOT more other **** with the EvoX besides just a powerful engine. I think they are damn nice cars.

WOW. People really dont know how to read.

"GT35R Twin Scroll Turbo Kit"
"This bolt on kit put down 510 horsepower on 91 octane at 20psi of boost and 600 horsepower on C16 race gas with stock internals.

So, do u have anymore questions? Maybe u could type control + f then enter 600 to find it too.

I still stand by my . So because a website based on selling products (not R&D specifically on the Evo X engine) says it, it must be true?

wow theres alot of haters on these forums, the evo is a nice car, not to mention race proven i think mitsu knows what they are doing with these cars, especially being able to put whatever engine they want like the aluminum 4B11 in their cars now due to the WRC withdraw.
basically 4B11> LNF. mod for mod the evo will put down more HP than the TC, there is such a thing as 600+ evos, wheres the 600hp TCs? evos have also broken the 1000hp range, tc? better car, it's been proven and i bet over half this forum would take an evo if they could. seems like a bunch of people hating for no reason, but i would be hating too if i were still driving my FWD econobox.

Whatever dude. When you own one and you push 600 hp through it, you can claim whatever you want. Being that I own one, and am going through a minor build (see: NOT 600hp on a stock engine) I can tell you, backed by 3 shops recommendations, 600hp on a stock internal engine, is not a good idea. But since you are an internet hard ass that doesnt own an evo, you can claim/believe whatever you want Bitch.

AMS made 550awhp on a pump/c16 mix with their 35r prototype kit. Multiple tuners have made deep into the 500awhp range and I wouldn't be surprised to see 600, although I haven't seen it yet, it may be out there.

LOLOLOLOLZ. It takes MAYBE common sense to READ and COMPREHEND a dyno and information posted on NOT ONLY the vendor sites, but ALSO evoxforums.com.

BTW, the engine in the CSRT is pretty much the same. Cams are interchangable, PCM is the same, sensors, blah blah blah. In fact, theyre in the process of unlocking an EVO X PCM to be used in the CSRT as a way to tune the CSRT. Both built off the mitsu-GS platform. In addition to this, the CSRT has seen 570 whp with a turbo upgrade and stock internals. I really dont see how the EVO X wouldnt see the same either. 570 whp, no knock, no race gas. 600 whp is right around the corner for the CSRT.

Right on. Keep reading about what people say is best for a car you dont own. I'll actually do, and decide whats best for mine.

Cobalt= 2 doors, lighter and faster stock
