None of you have been to drag races on a fozen bay have you? That ****'s fun to watch. I've never participated and never will, but it looks like a good time if you have the ***** to do it.

I live in Stoneham, Canada in the province of Quebec... we get snow by the shitloads.
We also own a 4x4 Jeep and you know what, up here I wouldn't give a damn if I were to lose a few whp for the benefit of awd.
A wrx 265 even with some hp loss is still a quick car anyways.

I don't know exactly how he could of other than to say "I WAS NOT RACING". He never said he gunned it, tried to keep up, or otherwise implied that he did anything but just to try to get going in the snow.
But on a side note, I probably wouldn't have posted it period, in any forum.
Now if it were a WRX vs.... perhaps a jacked 4x4 truck in the snow, and did race, that might interesting.
