cobalt ss vs. impala ss
impala ss. the kind that looks like a caprice. my guess is between 95-98.
he was driving all fast down the highway, so i got behind him, using him as my rabbit incase there were cops, he would probably be the one getting the ticket. once i was behind him he tried to gun it and walk me. it was pretty easy to stay with him.. i had to keep letting off.
we ended up at a red light about a mile down the road from where i first saw him.
he was power braking and got a good launch. my launch was mediocre at best. probably jumped out 2 cars on me. by mid second gear i was walking past him. by the top of third i was a good 4 cars out on him and still pulling.
it felt good to romp on somebody after i got bested by a gto a few weeks ago.
score one for the cobalt.
bump

94-96 were the production years for the Impala SS on the Caprice body. My dad owned a 96'. Only year w/ the shifter on the floor instead of on the steering column. Sweet cars, kinda dogs though. They have potential. But ride w/ the LT1...
Think they were 6.5 stock 0-60.
