Cobalt SS VS Snowplow
Yeah Bitches! Snowplow 0, Cobalt 1!
I was driving to work on Monday in Toronto's freezing rain/snow storm. I came upon a snow plow truck/Salter in the middle lane of a 4 lane road. He was clearing the snow from the middle lane into right hand at a breathe taking 10MPH. I tired to pass him, got a bumper full of snow, slid a bit, and had to hang back. I drove like this for 10 minutes cursing the truck (irrationally) for not plowing the right lane instead.
We finally get to a red light and we are lined up side by side. Him in the left lane with that 8 foot glistening yellow blade of steel. Me in the right lane sitting in a foot of freshly plowed snow and slush. I'm not sure of his mods but I think he had I/E/H.
Anyway, light turns green, and off we go, I fly through first gear, fly through second, and hit third gear, I am doing at least 5MPH and have made it halfway through the intesection. I finally clear the snow he's plowing into my lane and have at least 4 truck lengths by 18MPH (my top speed before the lack of traction scared me).
But seriously, if I didn't have snow tires on, I never would have cleared that plow and would probably still be following as we speak.

yea i call BS as well.
those plow trucks STOCK run easy 19's, or 20's @ 65mph, and have a 0-60 in about 12 seconds.
even with the mods you have, it isn't happening.
maybe he wasn't trying or didnt know you were racing!
