are your driving the 2.4 SS? that would explain your loss if so.

Stg 2 WRX 2.0 (turboback exhaust and tune) = stock STI....

There are dozens on threads about this on www.nasioc.com and basically it comes down to a drivers race in the 1/4 mile. Up top the STI will pull ever sooooo slightly.

I'd suggest trying your luck against STi's and hope they are stock. That will definately be a kick to the ego of the STi guy hahaha. (obviously from a roll)
