SERIOUSLY....................
both of thoes cars are weak in the big picture........ and i say that as a cobalt driver
it is sad that your v8 is so weak shouldnt have gotten thoes 20's thats def what it is thoes extra 14lbs on the corners
is it an auto?
but you do win in the department of 4 doors, gotta love a sedan
p.s buy a blower for that thing if u wanna be taken seriously

Review: 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo found this article and it made me laugh at the cars the cobalt beat on the virginia internation circuit, lol my friend has a challenger srt8 and he says its bullshit lol

All anyone said was good run because srt8 are very fast up top and kill cobalt stock for stock. Enjoy the race for what it is, a good fun run.
Unless I have a 09 5.7 eagle which they run out the box 13.1-13.4 stock..

Dude your charger isn't that fast, yeah you won at the video at the very end, but you didn't pull him that hard, and he even admits his car isn't that fast. You just upset you didn't rape him like you thought you would?

0-60 5.1 and 13.8 with a pred tune... a 09 and up is 13.1 stock and have the members on the forum to prove it and thats with a 2.65 rear end... whats sad is cobalts run 15's out of a box I ran a 14.0 stock in 08. put it plain in simple give me a high flo's and drag radials im in the high 12's
yes all chargers are 5 speed auto's i have a 2.82 rear end the wheels have slowed me down... but hey I give my friend props for his effort and for pulling me from 90-100 but I pull right back at the race he wanted to 120... second race 40-120 he stopped at 107 when I was a car ahead... oh well still dont know why im being told i got beat

am I missing something

No im not upset but if you would have seen how bad i beat him with his intake and header ... which is more of a fair race

Your cobalt is pretty quick from a roll you have HEader intake zzp tune 2.8 pully no cats and downpipe christ...

My bad, the fact that you signed up here and made another thread pointing out a different camera angle to show off your victory put me under the impression that you were a little butthurt, sorry if I wasn't getting that correctly. So an almost stock SS/SC is a fair race against your modified charger? That's interesting.
flow master muffler lose power because its a 3 chamber muffler vs my stock muffler which is straight thru design I did it because I like the sound of the 44's
I have a stock intake with an air hog filter...
Cobalt has a tru cold air intake AEM
I have headers that were put on recently but have not had the highflo cats installed yet to utlize the power increase once again there is no gain unless the cats are installed vs the manifold...
Cobalt no cats downpipe header hugh difference here
Then I have a preload can tune that has to have a 180 stat to be worth a dam..
Cobalt has a 2.8 pully and a zzp tune ...
His mods yield him over 55 hp or more from his stock...
so my mods yield 3 tenthes from stock in the quarter.
If I put the high flo cats on I will be running a 13.2-13.4 on average ... not a 13.8
Thats how much a difference you gain with headers and cats together...

big beasty charger gets pulled by a tiny little cobalt for a while. thats what this forum is impressed with. not a win, jus that he kept up. and if u wann throw out all the different mod configurations, then show us a race with those, cuz thats not what anyone was talking about. so go get ur high flos and lighter rims and race again. see where that goes. maybe u will put more car lengths...

versus a 307 whp 4400lb car .... really
Dont need the lighter rims just the highflo's
he states my mods as if those are heavy mods for a charger lol if i get a email tune that yeilds 30 hp not 15 like my can tune.. he has a email tune for his mods not just a can tune... and theres no anger here im just replying to whats being comment to or about my car .. thank yo u

Lol riiiiiiiiiiight. Not sure where you got your 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds, I'm finding 6 seconds flat for that.
