If you are in an SS/SC stock to stock against a 325i, I believe the Cobalt will win.

I beat one on a highway race, from 45 mph to about 145...I put 3 car lengths on him.

believe is not the right word. You will crush him. My friend has a 325i and ran a 16.5. i walk all over him. if its a 330i that would be a good race

I know these arent 100% accurate but according to the 0-60 times and 1/4 mile the only 1 I see that comes close to SS/SC times is the 330i with the Cobalt SS in the lead by a bit

Awesome! I actually raced a bmw 325i sedan (could have been a coupe, i don't remember) last night. I saw him race an acura something or other with a fart can a head of me. The BMW rocked the acura, so i followed the bmw up the hill to the next stop light. He moved over a lane so he would be beside me. The intersection we are about to cross starts going down a big hill so i knew it would be a quick race!
Light goes green and i take it easy through the intersection because it is rough with the tire grooves and then just floor it after. I put a quick car and a half on him after first gear and just kept pulling through second and third. I shut down at about 145km/h and he is about 6-8 lengths behind me.

It sounds like it should have been a closer race based on what everyone here has been saying. Im wondering if he just gave up, missed a gear, or sucks at driving... or maybe the 325i can't keep up.

Hope that helps! Race him and let us know how it goes.
I drive an 06 ss/sc stock.

I ran a 330i on the highway, and consistently walked him. This one was about an 03 or 04. Nothing like eating some braut with a little 4 banger.

you're exactly right, a 325 just can not keep up. They are 16 second cars.

I ran a 325I in my Cavi. and killed him. You should have no problem in a 2.4 SS.
