Congrats on losing, v6 stang. LOL
So yesterday my friend with an 06 v6 mustang INSISTED that I race him.. because the other day he "burned out" for like 100ft or something.. apparently that makes it fast because he can spin in the rain.. I dunno... I told him that I can burnout into second gear when it was try.. and he STILL wanted to race.. LOL So anyway... we go from a 40 roll, and I was at like 115 when he said he was at 90. I had a HUGE lead on him. It was honestly like.. ridiculous how much I was ahead, LOL... then we decided to go from an 80 roll.. and I just walked on him.. and he tried to tell me that he did so bad because he missed a gear... AND HE HAS AN AUTO... IDK.. it was funny, and I just thought i'd share it with everyone.. because im sure i'm not the only one who's experienced it, haha.

I find it funny, that the V6/GT owners with real modded power under their hood, the kind that would embarrass a 'vette, don't normally advertise... and the bone-stock V6 mommy cars get the ricer treatment. That aside, I'd love to see a TT V6 or a Vortec GT pop some wheelies (not sure how much power that takes, but I'm sure either one has enough)
OP, way to show him that not only are stock auto V6's not all that fast, but that he's also a crappy driver.

The guys who really know what they're talking about don't talk a big game and they let the car do the talking. The guys with big mouths often can't back them up.

Yeah, there are a lot of cars like that 944 that weren't even fast for their time, let alone now. There are minivans that would lay waste to that thing.

99-04 would be a good race though.
pre-99 cars are slow as ****.
i guess your friend rode the short bus to school, wasting money modding a ford v6..

To bad 99% of Roushs and Saleens are just GTs with a body kit and suspension. Unless you happen to find one of the very few Supercharged ones (Which is harder to find than a Cobra) then they still aren’t worth it for the money. For the price of a “good” Saleen or Roush you could build a car that would smoke any stock Mustang ever made, including the GT500.

Pauls HP has a 05 V6 running 13.90s on motor and 12.80s with a 75 shot which is pretty respectible.
Here is a sweet ass 6 that runs 10s in full street trim! I'd hate to know how much money he spent on that though.

Justin @ VMP has a stock LONGBLOCK Twin-Turbo 3.8 making 450+whp and running 10.9@128...
And there are PLENTY of 11, 12, 13 second V6 Mustangs as well.
