I saw one at the local track running high 13's bone stock ! And the track prep sucked hard that day. Im just guessing. But im thinking those cars are good for mid 13's stock.

i have a stage 2 with 2.9/zzpheader/dp/corsaexhaust with intake. and i raced my buddies mustang gt/cs which is a convertible. my car is heavy **** especially with my stereo system and my fat ass (225lbs.) i raced from 3rd gear. about 60 or70. i forgot..... anyways, i beat him by like 2-3 cars
at the worst...they've gone 13.2 @105 stock. (coupe/manual) most drivers will hit a best of 13.5ish stock and average 13.6/13.7's though.

yea. its close. The mach 1 pulls out ahead most of the time (it should) and if its equal driving will pull a few cars, but its no slaughter. Bolt ons even it up more too. The 3v's can be pretty nasty for a bolt on car, as far as mustangs go.

did you guys ever think that it might be his first track run? i'm sure most of you guys pulled a 15 (or worse) in your stock ss on your first run...
i ran a 14.9 my first run then ran 2 back to back 15s. it happens especially when your nervous.
hell i even pulled a 18 (just coasted when i couldnt hook up in 2nd) right after my 13.6@105 run.

My first run EVER down the track is coincidentally my 2nd best run EVER. It was my BEST run for the longest time. For some reason, every time I go to the track, my first run of the night is USUALLY my best run of the night. It sucks. After the first run these days, I usually feel as though I should just pack it up and go home! haha.

That's what me figures. The one time that my first run WASN'T my fastest run... was because we started running at 5pm... then the sun went down... and I got my fastest run. Beat a early 90's Corvette actually! Cocky ***** didn't see it coming! "This is a Vette man! You ain't got ****!" Actually, I gotz your $20 now, BEOTCH!
