E47 TVS Cobalt VS G35 w/ 75 Shot

Races filmed on the moon...

Anyway.

Cobalt: TVS, E47, Ported Head, Poor Driver (Me)

G35: Kinetix Extreme Flow Intake, Exhaust, CAI, 75 Wet Shot Nitrous Express Kit. Scissor Doors...lol

Dude absolutely refused a roll race.. I tried to explain that this car doesn't hook and i'm a crappy driver.. but he wouldn't budge.. So, I suggested a roll race, and if he beat me, there was no need to do the dig... but if i beat him.. we'd do a dig. He countered dig first, roll second.. I agreed.

Race One - Dig - I super short shifted to 2nd

Stage X Cobalt vs G35 w/ 75 Shot - Dig - YouTube

Race Two - 30 Roll - Started in 2nd, so it was kinda lugging for a bit..lol

good stuff, the short shift sure hurt you but it was to prevent massive wheel spin I'm guessing?

Yeah, if I carry 1st on out it gets to spinning even worse and then stays lit in 2nd. So, short shifting bogs it a little and lets me get my crap together..

It's called break boosting. Also your numbers show the car is much faster than any TVS car.

nice runs man, i like how the blower sounds. curious what exhaust setup do you have? since the whine was heard nice and clear. most tvs lsjs or m62 lsjs exhaust notes for that matter sound like **** unless they have nice exhaust setups.

Currently the car is a pacesetter header, 3" catless dp, 3" mandrel bent cat back, 36" Magnaflow Resonator, and a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler. Its still louder than I like, but it's the best it's sounded with a 3" exhaust so far.

I had the Dynomax VT muffler prior to this, and hated it.

I would blame auto correct but that was just fail on my part while typing and pretending to pay attention to the people around me.

Yeah, if that were a 1/4 mile, it would've ended just before that last shift with me at his rear bumper.. but.. he didn't let off.. so neither did i I need to practice launching this car, but i always feel guilty working the clutch like that over and over.. :-/

I wasn't sure how much quicker it would be with the spray on it. So it was worth having some fun
