Went out cruising the other night with a buddy to film. Got into a bunch of races, but only 1 win. Feel free to make fun of me, and my stupid remarks.

Evo 9. This thing was sick, but seemed to be running pretty rich since there was a nice backfire every shift. I pulled first, but he just walked away from me after half a second.

I have never heard of this SRT10 pickup, but it was pretty sick. We raced a couple times, he got me from a dig everytime, but I got him from a 2nd gear pull at the end of the night. Maybe he wasn't trying, but I saw him take it upto the fuel cutoff..

On this one, I lined up with a chick driving an SRT4, and a Trans am next to her. When the light turned green, she wheelhopped or something, cause she was left behind, and me and the Trans am took off. He easily pulls ahead, and slowly gets away...

This 240sx came up behind me in the mall area drifting like crazy! We jumped on the highway, and do a pretty sweet pull. I jump ahead at first, but once again, he gets away from me..

Finally! A win. Not a glorius matchup, but still a BMW 540 is decently quick, and its RWD. I was pleased to finally have a video that my buddy had to point the camera out the back window.



All in all, it was a fun night, but not very succesfull. I have been having programming troubles, so I know the Balt isnt running right, but I know also there is some driver inexperience included in those losses. But hey, everyone likes a video...


P.S. Street racing is dangerous! Don't do it!

Yeah, that SRT is sick. I looked up the stats, its impressive.

I still get a lil wheelhop, plus we were on a bit of a hill, blah blah blah....

It was a bit more than 40mph vs the 240sx. Probably like 55 by the time we actually got to honking..

Yeah that 240sx had some serious work done to it. He stripped out all the interior, with carbon fiber hood, and all sorts of replaced parts under the hood. So a Turbo 240sx with serious weight reduction, and me with my tubby camera man(sorry Riggs!) in my car, and only a stage 2(that isn't running at peak efficiency), yeah he got away from me. And with that trans am, he stock has more HP/TQ than me(not to mention what mods he may have had), plus RWD... yeah he is going to get away from me. I had a decent launch that run, but it just wasn't enough..

So yeah, I need to learn to launch better, but still, I held my own. Its just another case of the faster car winning.

cool vids, but dude, driving skills need some work. 3rd gear 40 roll? even if you were going 55 you could still have been in 2nd. just learn your car better and none of those cars would have pulled as hard as they did. props for posting losses though, no one does that these days. i would if i could... haha! <----- touch of sarcasm

Yeah, honestly I can't remember if I acutally was in 3rd. My buddy announced like I was, but I know I normally do a roll-launch from like 4-5Krpm, so I may have even been in 2nd. Especially since I pulled ahead for a second before they each got away.. But yeah, I still have some learning to do. I only have had the car since oct/nov.

na i watched the video again and you are in 2nd your rpms are too high and you shifted twice and was still pullin hard so i doubt you were in 5th at 100

no ****, you would have done plenty fine with that 240. in my opinion, 40 miles and hour in second gear, my stock car is a beast! to me, third gear needs some help even from 60mph.

that evo IV race was insane....but i raced one from a 40 roll and i didnt lose that back and i had 3ppl in the car but i also got a lil more stuff then u do also......but i didnt think it would make that much of a difference guess i was wrong unless the evo had something done to it cause i raced a stock one with a turboback exhaust

Evo race was strange. In my Evo IX race... he pulled first and then I pulled it back even.

Should have raced the SRT-10 from a roll.

i was going to say.... what person in their right mind would take off at 40 mph in 3rd gear? im glad it was second... if not u should have traded ur buddy seats :-p
