First Kill with the Intake
Was coming home tonight after playing some tennis and passed a early 90's civic with rims/lowered, turboed, the works. He turns down the road im on and i see him coming up pretty slow, i then approached the 4 way stop (there are 2 lanes going the same direction), i didnt feel like racing so i just stopped and went, and didnt wait. I watched him to see if he was going to do a ricer fly by, just as i suspected he slowed down to about 20 and gunned it, at this point he was at my rear quarter pannel, i was still in first about 4000 rpms so i just gunned it and spun just a tad , at this point he was right next to me, could see his interior, nice blue triple gauge pod/gauges, i then shift into second at the same time he does. I could barely hear his rediculouly loud blow off valve over my whine. I quickly pulled 2 cars after the shift and I shutdown as did he, but he just got in my lane and pulled off into an apt. complex. Hah he thought he was just gonna blow by and cut me off to get into that parking lot. Felt pretty good handing him his own ass....

i dont understand how they can pour thousands of dollars in a car that needs a completly different engine to be competitive. i.e. acura swaps. by that time its not even a honda anymore its a halfbreed with stickers and fart pipes. no offence to thoes that cannot afford more but c'mon dont think your gonnna beat every car on the road cause you have a muffler, rims, altezas, and a bucket of hopes and dreams.

I don't like Civics any more than you do, but making a generalization that underestimates an entire model of car is a bad idea. There are civics out there that have spent far, far less than you have on your Cobalt that would run away from you like you're standing on the brakes.
You don't have to like them, but underestimating them is just asking to be totally embarrassed by someone you were just making fun of.
